Life Ain’t so Bad

Complete | Si Mitsuru | 2000 released

Critique ahead, beware. They are just purely comedic. In every way. And that is what you need to keep in mind when reading this; it's NOT serious, it's NOT that deep and does not wanna be, so do yourself a favour and read it as a comedy-smut comic instead of trying to criticize their behavior or reasoning. It's your own fault if you take this serious past the first chapter, really. XD The writing is decent but simple, since it IS just porn with plot (aka smut). This, again, makes it clear this should not be taken serious or have anyone critique character behavior, smut is focused on sex, not realism. Anything goes to achieve the bonking. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ This really is a more simple comic which really should be read by people who can manage to just laugh something off/ignore something the same as the character it is happening to, not getting emotionally invested in literally anything even if the mood isn't for it (however the fuck you manage to do THAT with an absurd comedy-porn setting like this, that's magic really, so please refrain from casting your spells!). Take it as a light read for comedy and sex scenes and you're good. The characters are more comedy-oriented than realistic but I do believe their behavior is plenty realistic in certain ways if you consider people like each of them DO infact exist irl, althought not so commonly. But it might not be everybody's cup of tea that there are actual people who, after being sex workers, are capable of shrugging of creepy stalker rapist incidents. Again, this is possible irl but this comic made no big deal out of it as it would simply NOT fit the entire character that was established and the general mood. (Author could have left it out tbh, maybe just making the creep undress him forcefully and it could have resulted in the exact same situation.) The art is decent but it's nothing special. The funny expressions are great tho! There is effort put into the sexual scenes but not in a high level, mid-tier I'd say. The artstyle is not unpleasant but not beautiful either, so if the comedy or romance cannot keep you, the art probably will not either. It's a taste-based thing. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a laugh and some smut alongside it, but stay away if you have the bad habit of getting too personally invested in even the most blatantly comedy-based stories that have a non-chalant character actually be non-chalant about anything that happens to him because he's used to it. It's not a good thing to do anyway but I know for a fact someone will get offended on behalf of this character even if the author made clear this comic is basically like a slapstick Tom & Jerry/Bugs Bunny cartoon moment. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Anyway, recommended for more mature readers I suppose. It depends on your tastes tho!
