Don't read it, seriously. Whether you are a fan of YoI or not, don't read this sick shit.

Definitely not recommended. Even if it does show 'realistic' bullying, it's still fucked up and that bully is definitely a mental nutcase based on his weird behavior at the end. WTF.

Jou-sama no Roommate

Complete | SAKURA Riko | 2017 released

Extremely bad. The artwork is nice, but the characters (except Chiaki and Senpai) are absolutely disgusting. And the uke has to go to therapy to get a grip on reality as he seems to think it's ok to force his "Hey, let's whore around the campus just for fun! YOLO!" kinda mentality onto everyone else, even new people. Not everyone likes to screw around like a mindless animal, let alone be approached by such a person. Definitely not recommended.

Geezus christ, this story is so goddamn annoying it makes me wanna delete it from my memory. Cut the bullshit with the 'we don't trust you so we gonna throw a hissy fit and not believe you!' troope just to keep the drama rolling. It's annoying and not good writing either. I doubt I'll ever come back to this. Neither the story not the characters are interesting. Not worth the trouble. Not in the slightest.

While the base plot (as often is the case with these stories) is indeed interesting to a certain degree, this one is just not well written at all. I can forgive the parts in which it seems like stuff is repeating, forwhatever reason, and even those where it seems like you missed a scene or it simply comes across a bit messy. But the lack of logic and rushed 'progress points' are just ruining this. The emperor, duke and the headmaid are the ones that have the biggest logic flaws but there are also times in which the behavior or reasoning of the main character and emperor just seem entirely random and come across like they are only behaving that way to move the plot along. Which is horrible writing, something I only expect of an amateur that really didn't bother checking if their story even made sense. The art is alright and the base plotline is nice but this nilly-willy writing just makes this unreadable for me. It could be a nice read for people that can ignore these obvious flaws, likely young girls that don't think twice if the love fantasy they read even makes sense (Shoujo-Land ahoy!). But for people that like good writing this is something to avoid. It may not be the worst in terms of writing, but it's certainly very bothersome if you prefer things to make sense and be realistic in terms of reasoning. Enjoy to whoever can, to each their own.

Okay, this is by far one of the worst female MCs I've come across. She's not only plain stupid, but has also a huge case of protagonist syndrome, goes hopping to conclusions like a bunny to carrots and has just such a flawed logic that I'm not just confused but also baffled. WTF. 4 chapters in and I'm so done with her and already pity the guy (who hasn't done a single thing to justify her biased mindset and 'leave me alone' attitude, he literally just asked a damn question, wtf). I'm so done with this. Have fun whoever can endure this kinda annoying female lead, but I'm not gonna endure this.
