there are definitely very problematic elements in the book but they're done SO WELL and so realistically that i genuinely cannot find any fault with the writing. and i dont even have to speak about the art. it's fucking god tier oh my god

really tame for a harada book. this is called "softcore" in harada's dictionary and idk if i'm proud or disappointed in myself for knowing that lmao. i'll be honest the only reason i come back to this manga is the superb absolutely superb smut and the godly voice actors of the blcd. that shit gave me back all the life points i lost reading abt this plot and characters. also i wish in an au yoru ended up with a (non-rape resorting) iori nii chan bc i really felt like they could've been a goddamn great (albeit a screw loose) pair. iori might be a yakuza but he had the potential to give yoru all the love you'd expect from a doting seme. asaichi was a dick to him for 80% of the book, i really thought pre-rape iori and yoru could've been great material especially after reading the first extra chapter of how iori met yoru. it left me wanting more. we could've gotten more of shiori and iori's past shitty life too. would've given more likability to his character. he's badass, he knows he's doing illegal shit but money and his family is priority, he is foul mouthed but also will go to great lengths for people he loves. if he wasn't a trashy side character mangled in the hands of harada i would've really loved to see him be a love rival and win. why am i ranting abt this? idk but damn i wish iori was yoru's second chance after getting all that rejection and verbal abuse from asaichi..... anyway like i said 10/10 for smut and blcd voice actors hoooooo boy were they DIVINE and fit the roles so fucking perfectly. if anybody knows more blcd's with asaichi's va as bottom and yoru's va as top plssss let me know somehow lmao

i had no fucking idea i would be getting into a story this intense when i opened ch.1. shit was so happy go lucky back then now it's all hot sex and painful angst and bittersweet memories. anyway hoin i see a president in the making in you my guy im sorry i jumped into conclusion about your personality so soon. you conniving attractive smart beautiful lil bitch. i realize now that not getting his way for the first time in his life is hitting him hard but i'm rooting for him anyway lol. taesoo you're actually kinda lovable and i sympathize with you but pls get yourself a new, official boyfriend. someone who's not woojin pls i won't like that one bit (will i tho? hmmm) anyway i wasted a whole day on this and honestly it was worth it. the character glow ups and the art glow ups are also so noteworthy, kudos to the creator. edit: changed to 4 stars from 5 bc im just tired and frustrated of the story rn lmao edit 2: 3 stars. idek why im reading the updates anymore. like. why is it so dragged out????? yea we're prob nearing the climax or whatever but i don't feel like opening the updates anymore bc it emotionally drains me. today i thought 'ah lemme give it a chance anyway' only to be pissed as hell bc now they're not only dragging this out, hoin is acting out weird braindead behavior and hurting woojin in the process. which. i hate to the core like, do whatever but don't throw shit at woojin. but he did exactly that. atp any outcome of this story is just gonna disappoint me bc i know how it's gonna be like. chunwoo would end up in a situation where he might really lose hoin or something, and he realizes he can't hide it anymore and vocalizes his love for hoin, hoin reunites with woojin, chunwoo makes up with taesoo...... meh. like i've read million stories with similar plot but it was executed better and shorter yknow. so i didn't mind sitting through the same shit bc every author exectued it well and i enjoyed it, or did it poorly and i dropped it. this book,,,, well the unconventional seme-uke design, the puppy seme/dark-haired cool uke trop i adore, and woojin are what that's still keeping me stay.... but idk for how much longer. at least give woojin a good chunk of the remaining chapters to have his own bf as reparations for being dragged into this mess ok correction: idc about any outcome to this book EXCEPT a scenario of woojin and hoin falling in love bc that HURTS GOOD and is GOOD DEVELOPMENT TO ME. i usually hate the best friend falling in love trope but idk this story fits it well ig? i'm just a sucker for regrets and making up for regrets ok. hoin x chunwoo have good sex compatibility and that's abt it. hoin x woojin have the potential to be exponentially more than what the other couple is. like i feel fuzzy imagining a relationship between them. and woojin actually knows what hoin's really like- he's cunning, borderline manipulative and really will do it all to get what he wants. chunwoo doesn't know any bit of this info. also hoinxwoojin will never bore each other out and always be poking each other's buttons affectionately. the banter??? i'd live for it. "you didn't restock the soju in the fridge so you're the one cooking dinner" "fuck, are you an alcoholic?? i am not gonna make food for an alcoholic" would be how they fight... and then one will crawl on his legs to the other to be forgiven,,, the whole thing will be videotaped for future laughs.... the POTENTIAL. bruh i literally used to be such a huge chunwoo stan for 80% of the book but this guy is racking his nails down my fucking nerves right now, i can't stand to coddle him any longer. told myself i wont rant more BUT i had to get it out of my system how woojin really went "you're my savior you're the stroke of luck i'd been waiting for" like.
