Honestly, one of my absolute favorite one shots. Having lost my hearing as a teenager for two years, this story really touches the softest spots in my heart.

This is truly a phenomenal story. The anime is also incredible. However, the translation is unbearable. Even the best story becomes tedious after so many volumes of a language that looks like your own but is so disjointed and confusing that you have to read the same page three or four times to be sure you got it right. All the time and effort applied by the mangaka and translator is wasted if no one wants to read the story because they can't understand what is written on the page.
