Kagakushitsu E Douzo
I have always loved this manga, but have always felt so conflicted by the ending. To me, it feels as though the main protagonists deserved so much more. More peace, more acceptance from themselves, more enlightenment, more growth... my list goes on and on. That's not to say the reader doesn't experience all those things with the characters, but at the end it just feels like they have SO much further to go and not in that "everything's going to work out fine" way. I guess I just don't like too much realism in my fantasy. Real life is too often like the end of this manga, where you expect so much and are only allowed a small taste. I'm just an escapist reader. If I wanted to see bitter reality, I wouldn't put so much time into reading manga, I'd simply talk to my embittered friends. LOL All in all, this is truly an epic story. It's well written, the art is amazing, the characters are all well depicted and relatable and the plot truly leaves you anxious to "turn the page". My sappy self would only wish for more definitive happiness for the protagonists at the end.
Mou Ichido, Nando Demo
This was a good story. I just wasn't feeling the ending as much as I had hoped to.
Mic and Neo
The Sixth Sense with a Yaoi twist. LMAO
