The art style over dramatizes the ukes reactions, also exaggerates the idea that a uke should have small soft features. I've been searching for so long for consensual s&m where the uke isn't naive and goes along with anything for "love" but this was not it. Typical abusive partner with a dash of 'you'll eventually learn to love me raping and mistreating you'.

Haru is soooo cute that it's almost impossible to continue hating Sou since he makes (or eventually made) haru happy

The entire plot is just a huge misunderstanding between a push-over uke and some vengeful, dramatic douche.
