slightly confusing story & pacing

an arrogant, promiscuous, gambler and delinquent was disherited by family of cloth wholesaler but childhood friends with a son of cloth supplier and somehow he spoiled the rich childhood friend by providing refuge/shelter but during war the childhood friend was drafted and never come back until 4yrs later, the waiting martyr friend was hurt because the childhood friend came back earlier but unable to face the waiting friend, thinking he got married so delayed being reunited until he became actor. When they reunited, they face challenges like the old bad habits of the arrogant childhood friend and some jealousy with the friend's supperior but they overcome it intl the end.
