It's a story about a promiscuous cop named Kain Walker who denies his identity so don't have any plan to have a steady relationship but then a chance encounter in a bar with Mel Fredericks will change his life. Mel coming from being adopted by his uncle & aunt because his parents _____ was raped by his uncle so he run away from the house only to find that life is harsher in reality since he have no one to rely on so he try to find part-time job but since he's still in highschool no one accepts him, so he had no choice buy to sold himself to live but some cruel clients don't pay for him and were violent to him instead, later he had some relationships but it never lasted for 2 years, some time later a professor took pity on him and let him continue his studies(the professor have family & have illicit relationship with him_____??), on his 5th bf he had almost comitted suicide and lose hope to have a normal relationship because of his background of selling himself and the harsh life he had to live in order to survive but he still survive the day to day somehow hoping of his ideal partner in life who will accept him regardless of his background and someday have a family who will mourn for him when he died (Mel was quite idealistic and hopeless romantic when it comes to love, he want to be united only with the person he love and love him only back, he's a straight laced when it comes to love but very loyal and love to the fullest by giving his all when he found The One). Will meeting Kain change his life for better? Kain on the other hand had a very normal family altough recently being pestered by his mother subtly to introduce to them his girlfriend although he himself still deny his identity and hide his prefferences from his co-worker policeman(except gosh who saw him one time in a bar but he has a family and can keep a secret) After some roller coaster of their relationship and became stable, Kain decided to introduce Mel to his parents knowing the consequence but he still insist while Mel's a bit hesitant to do so, later upon arriving to Kain's family home, his father readily accepts Mel while the mother still feels weird about all this. The couple stay for a couple of days, sometimes Kain's friend visits them and invites Kain to have reunion but Mel refuse to join since he will only get in their way. Mel felt alone since only Kain was the only person he could easily talk to, after sometime Kain told his mom a bit about Mel's past and feeling sorry for the boy, his mother accepts him and their relationship before the couple return to New York, although Kain's friends felt disgust upon learning the truth, Kain don't bother with it though, he just want to be true to himself and to cherish and love Mel until the day he die(Although Mel don't want Kain to die first because he'll have no reason to live and will suffer terribly emotionally if that happens). [After settling down in the couple's new home] Up until now no one from his work knew but he doesn't know that his partner have feelings for him and was jealous of his relationship with Mel so he plan to eliminate Mel by taking him as hostage, raping then kill him while Mel's working (he was the suspect hunted around that time) Mel was raped and nealy killed because he was stabbed by the kidney, luckily he was only injured but under surveilance and investigation since he was thought to be accomplice by drug pushers from his workplace all these things happened while Kain was away. After recovering from injury there are reporters want to get info from Mel about the incident but unfortunately Mel was having a hard time coping, he can't be left alone in the house because he will be reminded of his traumatic experiences so sometime later they move to Kain's family house to recover. After some time Kain found work locally to oversee Mel's recovery, while Mel go back to school to finish his education and have a degree to support Kain. ????Kain adopted Mel became Mel Walker After few years the couple decided to adopt a daughter and return to Kain's family home until Kain's parents left the world one by one. The adopted daughter grew up, have been discriminated because of the family composition until a journalist club member asks her some questions but after she answered he fell in love with her, a few years later on the prom day, that guy asks her to be his date and also asks from her parents permission, Kain was very strict while Mel was more lenient. The journalist guy later married the adopted daughter and they live separately from her parents.It was very peaceful with only empty nesters living in the huge house unfortunaly Mel was diagnose of having a kidney problem and couln't last much longer, Kain stayed beside him and take care of his needs, this was witnesed by both the daughter and her husband and so after Mel passed away, Kain was asked by the journalist's son-in-law to tell Mel and Kain's inspirational love story to be written in a book. After many 30 more years Kain was already a grandfather with all the descendants after him lives in the house, he was just waiting for Mel to fetch him from the other side, then the grandson was about to call him for lunch but he was not responding anymore, his soul was holding hands with Mel, smiling happily. ---THE END --- (so very touching story, a wonderful masterpiece!)

1. Mainichi Seiten 2. Kodomo wa Tomaranai - Start of school for the 2 youngest. Upon settling in at school Yuuta observes the people surrounding Mayumi and discovers Mayumi's different side which he observes and realizes that somehow it's unbalanced. Mayumi was still shaken for Taiga slowly getting close with Shuu while feeling somehow leftout. As the school starts, the whole family also switch rooms so Yuuta and Mayumi are now rommates and Yuuta was weirded out of Mayumi's behavior of crawling into Yuuta's bed and/ or having nightmares. One time as they are about to go to school Taiga told Yuuta to take care of Mayumi in case there are bullies due to an injury on Mayumi's elbow and later at school Kamio talks to Yuuta about Mayumi irritates him and doubting the gender of Mayumi but a friend of Mayumi's (from festival) interrupts so Uotatsu talk with Yuuta instead (they somehow clicked) and discusses some of his observations of Kamio and Mayumi somehow warns about Kamio's behavior, that night Yuuta continues to observe Mayumi's behavior and reveals to the family about some of the differences in behavior which Mayumi brushes it aside and the conversation somehow lead to Yuuta's curiosity in Mayumi's hiding his upper part of the body which really bother's him. The next day, while asleep Kamio called Mayumi out so Yuuta followed and as the 2 talked, he witness a Mayumi capable of protecting himself and kept avoiding swimming classes. When they got home Yuuta reveals of Mayumi's skipped swimming class and Taiga became worried because of the scar at Mayumi's back reminding of their past that was his fault; Yuuta frankly tells his observation until it got awful, Taiga went to his room and Shuu followed to comfort him while Taiga reveals a guilt that haunts him. The next day Yuuta hids the bear that Mayumi always hugs("security blanket" Taiga substitute) Mayumi got mad and rushes to school but as they met along the way, Yuuta just teases Mayumi to take of the clothes and he'll be like a partner in crime. One day Kamio challenges Mayumi to attend swimming class but Mayumi just ignore him so he was furious and pulled Mayumi's shirt until it reveals his scar in view of everyone so Mayumi rushes outside and Yuuta threatened Kamio before following him; as he cathes up to Mayumi, he hugs Mayumi and Mayumi burst out crying, as he calmed down he pulled Yuuta to a shrine to reveal the story behind the scar that because Taiga left Mayumi selfishly, he got violated and slashed violently with a knife leaving a scar to Mayumi while guilt nightmare to Taiga, he also reveals his ugly side(somewhat jealousy to Shuu for taking Taiga's pain) but while Yuuta's heard about these things, he comforted Mayumi and accepted all of Mayumi including the ugly side and scars but Taiga interupted them and Mayumi realizes that it might be love so this starts the step-kid's and 5th son's blosoming romance that shaken the Obinata's household. Later on the way to school, Yuuta let Mayumi talk to Kamio to settle things. As the new couple always got interupted by Taiga the couple got pissed of because they aren't doing anything further(lack of trust issues) but Taiga and Shuu later reveals that they just don't want the things happened to both of them also experienced by the younger ones but the younger ones want to prove their different, so Shuu and Taiga just hopes that they won't fall into same situation. 3.
