Kaikan Virginity
House Backer
A typical writer who can't keep to deadlines and an unexpectedly delinquent looking housekeeper. I didn't dislike it, especially enjoyed the teasing. But the uke is seriously a bit too useless. 4.5 5: About 2 sprinters, who've been the best of friends since middle school. While in uni, one peaks and gives up on track, causing their relationship to become awkward. This one was so sad yet nice too. Glad he decided to keep running for himself, even if not competitively. 4.75
Come to Hand
1: Miharu, a high school teacher, almost fainted from exhaustion on his way back from school, but is saved by Arashi, a handsome tattoo artist. They click almost instantly and begin hanging out, but it seems Arashi may be hiding something about his past. Quite lovely, so healthy and just, good vibes, all around. Both are such sweet people, both surrounded by good people. Just a happy, fluffy, feel good story, with an unexpected past that's a little lonely, but sweet, just the same. I love that his high school love came to fruition, even if 10 years later. It's so bittersweet and lonely that they didn't meet for so, so long. But I'm glad Arashi wasn't alone in the meantime. Having met again, though, just as he was thinking of him... All I can say is, they are surely fated to be together. ~Ahhh 5!! 6: Hajime, an actor gets the opportunity to star in the movie adaptation of a book by one of his favourite authors, Satou. When they meet, a pure, wholesome love blossoms. Pretty sweet and simple. 4.5
Matsuyoi no Oni
A "regular" fantasy author with just a bit of an ancient priest's blood in him, takes home an injured yokai (he's been able to see them since birth). The yokai, who was cursed by said priest, attacks him upon recovering conciousness, to gain back his magic (sex, it's always sex). It felt rushed and shallow. I don't understand why it's rated so high. 4.35
Aisare Neko wo Hantoubun
Writer in a slump finds inspiration in the form of not one, but TWO new romances with his doting editor and a human body pillow. It doesn't feel as cohesive as some other better matched threesomes I have read (ahem, Stuckony and Choberryba), but it was okay. 4.4
Do Shenshwcho wo ikenai goshido
Bruh. That's assault. Sure, the uke admitted that he liked it. But he said no, and no always means no, ffs. Why do yaoi mangaka so badly need assault in their plots. Ch 6
