I like d it, but, it dragged a tad. Nice chara development but not good closure. Happy that she's okay now but mad that the girl feels no remorsee. Curious about how they will handle Naerim ageing

Walked in expecting something mind-numbingly cliché and predictable but ended up with a quiet tragedy. Really, almost too painful. Not sure which parts hit me the hardest. Hisato waiting literally centuries for the love of his life, Shuuri being resigned to never be loved by someone who likes everyone, and therefore, really, likes no one or even Roche begging Akashi to kill him. Meeting after decades and the unassuming tenderness in that moment and Roche just being... so fucking tired. Like, I can't deal with this emotional trauma

tough uke, this one! 4 Chap 1: I mean, was he a tough uke? He did punch him, and rightly, but I don't know about tough, per say. He's not jellyfish, for sure. Tannai was such an insensitive seme, nearly everytime he opened his mouth, he said something horrid, and without meaning to. At least he got his act together, though. Basic plot about coworkers who fall in love. Okano was pretty cute, tbh. This wasn't too bad. 4.1 Chap 3: Story about a strong spirit and the human he took for himself many years ago. Kinda cool how they circumvented the system so well, but also Junnosuke shouldn't have taken such a huge step without discussing first. Felt like that was brushed over. 3.9 Chap 4: Rich hotel empire heir reunited with highschool crush. I don't think anyone really likes downright cruel semes? Making him clean his shoes like that :/ Mitsuru did seem to like him quite a bit more than he was letting on, and he had been aware of Shunsuke for a while as well. But, I don't know. It was still okay, and ended really sweetly. 4 Chap 5: Vampire and replacement for his old love. I didn't think I could hate any of the stories more, they all seemed average-ish, but I really do hate this one. How dare Viore openly claim that it wasn't Mitsuru, but his grandfather he loved all these decades. Even so, even as a stand in, Mitsuru followed him into eternity. I hate that. Loathe it. 2.9 Overall :3 7

I went into this thinking I wouldn't enjoy the power balance being tipped in the uke's (Mizuki) favour. But first of all, it wasn't really, as the story progressed and even where he did have the upperhand, it was offset, because the seme (Sakura) also has a lot of power over him, to the point where I was concerned. Glad Sakurs's a good guy, though, he's not trying to take advantage, at least. It's weird that a modern day vampire has evolved to take semen instead of blood, but strange plotline aside, it was still nice to see them interact and develop their relationship. Would have loved an extra chapter on them living together. Really enjoyed reading about when Mizuki finally started enjoying being with Sakura, in all senses of the word 4.5
