Yakozen
One of my first BL mangas, ever, at the ripe old age of 21. This will always be a personal favourite. It's so brilliantly handled, you can't even bring yourself to hate the first seme and the uke is so very precious.
Calorie
Toshiyuki has been in love with Yasuhira (who is straight) for 15 years. Every time the fact troubles him, he goes to Jun, a mutual friend, who comforts and cares for him. Thoughts: Really good. Loved the characters. Love how innocent and earnest the uke is. Of course the seme is super sweet. Even Yasuhira (thick as he is) is pretty cool. 5* 2: Chizuru's weird tendencies has Shou convinced that Chizuru is only interested in seeing Shou's angry expression, during sex and otherwise. Low 4*?
Lover's Position
1-3.1: Tells the tale of long suffering uke, Jun, in unrequited love with Hayato who was already going out with his best friend, Motoki. After years, Jun is reunited with Hayato who is single and a drunken night ends in a one night stand which develops into a relationship after Jun confesses his love. But Hayato is such a moron that many of his actions make it seem like Motoki is more important and Jun is so heartbroken, thinking he's a substitute, that he decides to cut off all contact. 4-5: Aida hires Sawada to make it seem like Naoto cheated on Aida (with Sawada) while drunk, so that he could break up with Naoto without giving the actual reason: his family wants him to marry and his dad is in ill health. Basically, everyone's a bit of an ***hole, except the uke (Naoto)
Aishuu
It was a really painful unrequited love but Kaoru (uke) did finally stand up for himself, which pleases me to no end. Plus the thick-headed seme, Jin, finally acknowledges that the uke is the only one for him. Here's to hoping it lasts
Blue Sky Complex
I want to be in this relationship. Uke, seme, I don't even care! They're so crazy about each other! Though, the misunderstandings were a tad annoying. Incredibly hot first time sex scene, definitely in my top 10, maybe even top 5. Chap 8
Unmei No Koi Ni Naritai
The very last panel could have been better worded (or translated?) but, overall: awesome! Really short and sweet and simple. With pining. Lots of pining.
Baka de Guzu wa Daikirai
I was rooting for the uke, all the way
