Confusing and vague and no character depth

Man fed up with job gets washed away to sea and his soul is collected by a man living in the dragon king's palace at the bottom of the sea. This man was there since a thousand years, after a turtle he rescued took him there. Collecting souls is their job. Now the salary man has to convince him to leave (the princess of the palace wants to send the 1000 year old man back to land for his own good, and will give the salary man good luck if he helps) Edit: it ended up being so much better as a stand alone. Much less bitter without the prequel fresh in my mind

It was hot and all. But where's the main plot? Maybe that was the main plot...? At least there are no unnecessary complications between them Edit: Takamizawa had pulled some pretty dickish head games, but Keichi makes him seem like small fry.
