Saye was gifted to the Sultan's harem as a mere 10 year old by her cowardly parents and lived forgotten in the shadows for 10 years. But little did she know, her kind act of hiding an injured stranger from thugs would end up changing her world forever. Saye is pretty meek, but I definitely don't hate that about her. She's had a hard life and she's certainly incredibly strong and resourceful to survive as long as she did until Kainer came and found her. As for Kainer, there's no denying that he's an absolute brute, a tyrant through and through. But he's also sickly-sweet to her, to the point of coming across as a completely different person. He also appears to care for his nanny, who also loves him a lot in return. I guess he's only good to the people he loves, or something. I don't know, either way, I enjoyed this as a light read to pass time but it's certainly nothing to write home about. 4.4

Just smut and doesn't really do anything for me. I like them, though. Very human (lol) characters. Ch 14

I know Danwoo's 23 and all, but somehow, with all his innocence, it feels like Taehan's really taking advantage of him. As long as he doesn't hurt him, I suppose. But I think we all know he probably will? Ch 14

I love anthologies. I was worried each story would only have one chapter, so glad that that's not the case. Ch 1: What a relief that it's not a dark story where the seme was actually behind the whole mess. Eager for more from this cute friends to lovers duo. Ch 4

I knew ajussi had to be doing something super shady, after all those hints the manhwaka gave. I think he's too young and breakable for this guy, our Yuan. But his first love is also the fucking worst. Ugh. I don't know. Ch 21

Painfully steamy and genuinely likable characters and even plot! More than half-way decent plot, at that! 5/5
