Story about Shina, an alpha from a prestigious family, who gave up everything for his fated mate, Aoi (an omega who was originally brought in to pair with Shina's evil older brother) and their super lovely-dovey life together with their adorable child, Noel. It was cute, but felt incomplete. The issues with the kidnapping of omegas by his brother, the budding relationship between the butler and the other omaga dude, there's too much left open-ended. Also, it's always frustrating to read stories set this early in the omega rights movement. 4.6

Matsushima is such a saint, his mom is so selfish, honestly. I don't even know what to say. Please stop having children without a care, if you don't have the means to take care of them. Say what you will, but both of them wanted to go to Tokyo, they had their original plans dashed because of her. It's great that Matsushima's father was able to provide for them, but honestly, I'm still angry. But in the end, Tsujimoto got to follow dreams of his own and Matsushima seems to be finally doing something for himself, as well. So that's good at least. I do like them together, I love that Tsuji put so much thought into their future and that Matsushima cared so much about Tsuji, but I'm still frustrated. 4.45

1: Mao and Oka become curious about gay sex after their dorm-mates and good friends, Kadoj and Kanade start dating. One thing leads to another, and they find themselves in a relationship neither one of them anticipated. I think Mao needs to stop and think about his words more often. Overall, it was good, nothing amazing. 4.4 5: Two childhood friends find each other after seven years apart, but spending time together leads to something more. Just an average story that's not really going anywhere yet. Would have loved to have read more. 4

Could a man who was only ever valued for his looks find love with a crazy hand-obsessed guy who only seems to care about his hands? The uke was a bit too prickly for my taste, but he improves upon acquaintance. Theirs is a strong love, I can tell. 4.75

A moving piece about a self taught violinist from a small island who can't really read sheet music (and is ostracised for it) and the deaf man who lends him the strength to keep trying to convey the sound of his music to others. It was pure and heartfelt, and while it focussed on the the juxtaposition of one of them being deaf and one of them being a musician who isn't readily able to consider how his music sounds to those listening on the other side, it doesn't take that angle too far. Keeps it sincere, doesn't make it tacky. 4.8
