I kinda hate it, tbh. I'll still read it, I need to know what happens next, but this is making me feel terrible for the kid.

I thought it'd be a cute re-encounter story about childhood friends, with cultural differences thrown in for a bit of angst and plot development. Since the prince is the uke, I figured the typical noncon issues would also be non-existent. I didn't except... this. This is pretty dark. I wasn't expecting a fucked up childhood + rape + gaslighting + trauma, wtf?! I'll still read it, I need to know that he finds a safe place where he can recover. But wow. This came out of nowhere and hit me smack in the trauma receptor.

The elder brother's story (Naochika) was fine. Just a sweet, simple story about insecurities and jealousy, but in a lighthearted manner that only makes his relationship with his husabnd Yasuda stronger. 4.5 The first story though, with Masachika and Grim. I was not expecting that, so it especially shocked me. He straight up roofied and raped the guy! Wtf! And Grim was somehow fine to forgive him just like that! 2 Overall: 3
