Saika, who can read minds, befriends Yamada, whose failed high school debut meant he ended up with 0 friends. Yamada falls in love with him and wins Saika over without even meaning to, by simple virtue of thinking sincerely about his feelings for Saika.
Yesss!!!! Switching, ftw! Wish we could have actually seen it, though. What I love most about Yamada is his overwhelmingly caring nature, despite being a relatively simple character. He's so sincere and unwavering, as well. It's quite appealing, tbh. Saika's feelings were abrupt, but I do love how he took initiative and stepped up many times over, from saving Yamada from loneliness, to saving him from Saika's crazy brother, to developing their relationship further. It was neat. 4.5
