They're just really unhealthy and neither are especially likable. It was just okay, imho. 4.3

Only, he gets stopped by the debt collector, Taejoo, who is adamant that he pays back his debt, in a number of ways. I hate a lot about it. It's just so fucking miserable. Honestly, just, the worst. From the staggering debt, to the rape, to the fear and the hopelessness of everything, it is just difficult to read. But. I will read. I am determined to see them at peace, dammit! 5* Ch 21

Only Sonigi, in his innocence and sweetness, could have made such a change in Kuro. Kuroe had such a difficult life and had become so warped. I feel like he definitely needs Sono way more than Sono needs him.

Jaeho is suddenly surprised with the news of the passing of a father he never knew. A father who, as it turns out, had left the entirety of his immense wealth and and his company to Jaeho, his sole heir. He also left him Liu, the company secretary who is determined to hate Jaeho's guts. While neither of the characters were my usual cup of tea, I did think Liu was a brave man, if unreasonable. I did hate his presumptuousness, sometimes. I think Jaeho did the best he could have possibly done, given the awful shit he's been put through. He's certainly not the nicest guy around, but I can't help but feel for him, and he does have his great moments. The plot was good, but lacked detail. The loose ends with Jaeho's mum and the money she stole, as well as the half-assed attempts of Jaeho's father left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, it was good. not great. 4.5

It's off-the-charts hot. So hot. But frustrating. I mean, if you get assaulted by someone who happens to be gay, does that give you the right to be a homophobe? How is his saying "I hate omegas" any different from someone saying "all Muslims are terrorists"? It's all senseless hate, is what I'm saying. And even if he was saying that to put up a front (which, it's not quite clear), the fact that he said it at all is the key issue. Any omega would immediately refrain from telling him they're one, that's just a logical act of self-preservation. And this omega is his best friend who also happens to be in love with the dude. Of course he hid it! Of course he did! So I can't quite stomach the seme somehow trying to take the moral highground here. Having said all of that, he really does love the uke. He's devoted and diligent, and gentle, too! Plus, he's really, really careful about consent.
