Hageshi Torai Shimashou Ka
Shinomiya is creepy, but he is not a downright creep. He drools over muscles but is actually pretty committed to doing his job right. Matsuda didn't really seem to have a developed character because the story revolved around Shinomiya. Surprisingly fleshed out plot and series of evens for such a short story with a pwp kinda theme. The self lubricating and expanding anus makes an appearance! I forgot how sensei always does these :'D 4.3
Mousou Cherry
Chap 1: This one's about two uni students famous around the campus for their looks and stuff; Kitagawa is an airhead who comes across as mysterious, intelligent (which he is, but in a book-smart sort of way) and aloof and Shouki is a handsome, outgoing and all-around popular guy. Shouki asks Kitagawa out and they start dating while Kitagawa who's been in love with Shouki for a while tries his best to hide his clumsy, airheaded nature because he thinks Shouki will hate that part of him. But what if Shouki knew all along? 4.5 Chap 2: Now *this* is a hot one! The art and positions, that is. Childhood friends finally get together. Baseballer seme, really possessive, and uke in denial. The uke was all over the place, blowing hot then cold. The baseballer has his hands full. Story was so-so but art was so good! Chap 4: About Ayumu and his shitty playboy childhood friend Suou, whom he is in love with. Suou is kinda mean and unreasonable, kissing him, then saying it's not possible, then getting jealous and accusing Ayumu of playing around, and attacking him in the library. Not a a great story in a collection of stories that are already questionable. 3 Chap 5: The one with the mean vice president of the student council and the guys who fall in love with the dude who picked him and gave him a handkerchief when he fell. It was shallow, he didn't even know who he was in love with. It was kinda stupid. 3.5 Overall : 3.875
Tada Omoukoto wa
Hmm. A typical unrequited but actually requited story about friends in high school, who's love comes to fruition as adults. Didn't really carry the angst and melancholy attached to the stories that use this plot, that I love reading so much. The characters were all right, I wasn't crazy about any of them, though. The story was okay, a little boring? 4.3
Love Thy Neighbor
Akari, who is a corporate slave, finally meets his neighbours of 2 years during a blackout. As he develops relationships with them, he finds himself increasingly entabgled with the hot yet unreadable Hajime whose intentions he can't seem to get straight. Firstly, I love apartment complex stories. And secondly, this is so interesting! Hajime was a right dick, but I'm willing to see how he makes up for it. His asshole schoolmate, though, screw him. Love Akari, of course. He's so precious. The remaining flatmates are also fun to read. 4.8
Hana Tokidoki Kuma
Sumito shares a cafe notebook with a stranger, passing little messaages back and forth and falling a little bit in love, only to meet the person behind the pen to find out it's a guy, Kokuma. And yet, Sumito finds himself just as equally interested in the gentle Kokuma who clearly has feelings for him. It's so gentle and wholesome. I love Kokuma's forwardness, I loved that Sumito was willing to take a chance, too. They're really, really good together. But that ending sucked. 4.95
Tsuyokina Koneko no ran Shikata
Hinata's sensei (whom he is in love with) misunderstandings and thinks his cute student is prostituting himself. The misunderstanding carries into Hinata's adult life and when they meet again sensei offers to buy his services. Hinata finds himself unable to turn the offer down for a number of reasons. Uhhh. It's good, but kinda sad, at the same time. Hinata was dealt a pretty bad hand, I guess. And I don't know, I kinda resent sensei for the assumptions he made. But the brothers are happy and safe now and well taken care of and I guess that's all anyone can hope for. 4.7
Omega Complex
It's off-the-charts hot. So hot. But frustrating. I mean, if you get assaulted by someone who happens to be gay, does that give you the right to be a homophobe? How is his saying "I hate omegas" any different from someone saying "all Muslims are terrorists"? It's all senseless hate, is what I'm saying. And even if he was saying that to put up a front (which, it's not quite clear), the fact that he said it at all is the key issue. Any omega would immediately refrain from telling him they're one, that's just a logical act of self-preservation. And this omega is his best friend who also happens to be in love with the dude. Of course he hid it! Of course he did! So I can't quite stomach the seme somehow trying to take the moral highground here. Having said all of that, he really does love the uke. He's devoted and diligent, and gentle, too! Plus, he's really, really careful about consent. In any case, I'm letting it slide because they've both been through some rough patches, and they're both happy now. Edit: Completed. Just fluff/smut chapters now. Ch 43
