Harukawakun To Yukisensei No Fudanshi Jijo.
Wild Love of Beasts
A strange fic about the lives of various species in captivity, most of them CITES listed. I just found the whole thing to be extremely odd and difficult to get into? It was like reading while high. Or something. I don't know. It wasn't bad. Just, very strange. And maybe just not my cup of tea. The only way I was able to keep going was because of the continuous introduction of new characters. 4.3
Moto Yakuza ga BL Sakka ni Nattarashii
Sudou, a former yakuza member whose group got dissolved, becomes a bl author while looking for a way to make a living on the straight and narrow. Only, he doesn't have any experience with the bl genre. Luckily, his competent editor Hirose is more than happy to help him get informed XD I love Sudou, tbh. I love his sincerity. And that he's so diligent and good at what he does. That he knows what he wants. Hirose is a bit weak, but I see why he faltered. It *was* a big opportunity for Sudou. But they chose well in the end, and I enjoyed the book overall. 4.8
Keisenjou no Cantata
1, 3: Story about Youji, an amateur manga artist, and how he falls for Sawa, his sepai who always wears gloves for an unknown reason. The story was incredible. And incredibly painful. Yaoi rarely deal with issues like self harm and trauma well, but this was amazing. I wish them all the happiness. 5 2, 4: Suo and Minato meet online as bl fanfic writer and fan artist. Once they meet irl, their bond strengthens and Suo eventually realizes he is in love with Minato. Only, Minato has been in love with him for just as long, if not longer. So much pain in their desperation, but so heartwarming and sweet, too. Suo will never ever know how much he saved Minato. Lord. This child needed that break. 4.7 The entire collection has such depth and evokes the strangest sense of nostalgia. Bittersweet but heavy on the sweet, and heartbreakingly beautiful.
Happy End wa Goisshoni
Wataru is a, frankly adorable, dude who loves girly things and cooking. So he's never had a girlfriend, despite being an elite at work and being movie star- handsome. When he finds out his favourite shoujo mangaka (Soto) lives in the apartment next door, an unlikely friendship is struck up. Soto is fine, and all, but Wataru, dammit. What a precious child is this person with not a mean bone in his body. ~Ahhh 4.8
Meruhen na Otoko tachi
That's a ridiculous fucking assumption, Hishimi, don't be absurd.
