Takane no Hana wa Chirasaretai
Hana is in love with the unattainable Renjaku san who is a famous flower arranger across the street, who helped him with his heat once. So glad I reserved judgement. Renjaku is definitely an asshole, but he's an asshole who is madly in love with Hana and will keep him protected, loved and happy with everything he is. Hana was just so cute. He's ditzy sometimes, but he's kind and so fucking strong, honestly. He's so resilient, going on like that, despite the stigma, his shitty fucking parents, his delusional creepy brother, and his seemingly unrequited love. I liked it, but don't want any reconciliations with his family. They can rot. And that brother is creepy af :/ 4.8
By My Side
Uyama has been in love with his bestfriend, Sakyou, for years. Sakyou walks in on him masturbating to him and slowly starts to realise Uyama's feelings and his own. It was a good manga. Plot was basic, but with just the right amount of angst, and just one interfering 3rd party, who wasn't even that annoying. What was annoying was the bloody format! Why on earth would the author make two sometimes contradicting and sometimes overlapping versions?! It was just absurd! Put me off the story, and the 6 year time leap and missing their first time together, all sucked. 4.45
Make a Pet Out of a Cactus
Okay, so a salaryman is nailing a flower shop owner, but is also an m and the shop owner likes to tie him up and stuff hecause he's a power bottom. Looks like sex friends situation becoming something more. I enjoyed the atypical dynamics, but found it to be boring, overall. Especially since we don't really get to know them. It's just one session of sex. 4.3
Akuma ha Tengoku ni Ikitakunai!
Makoto is a lust demon who gets reincarnated as a human a 1000 years later. While his memories remain intact, his instincts have dulled and he has become an adorable, grumpy little burnt marshmallow who enjoys helping people. Whereas, the angel who used to lecture him is now a bit of a flirt working in the same building as him? What will Makoto do when a drunken one night stand further complicates matters? Seems interesting, but reserving judgment for now. Edit: Interesting, yes, but a bit too short. Also, we should really get Seiichi and Seiji's story in detail. 4.6
Hana Tokidoki Kuma
Sumito shares a cafe notebook with a stranger, passing little messaages back and forth and falling a little bit in love, only to meet the person behind the pen to find out it's a guy, Kokuma. And yet, Sumito finds himself just as equally interested in the gentle Kokuma who clearly has feelings for him. It's so gentle and wholesome. I love Kokuma's forwardness, I loved that Sumito was willing to take a chance, too. They're really, really good together. But that ending sucked. 4.95
Engrave My Love
It was all right. Odd mix of yaoi clichés and some rarer tropes as well. The traumatised uke who doesn't date straight guys trope and the flower shop owner trope mixed in with the rarer happening bar trope. Kimda forgettable. 3.95
