Hate Mate
I only read the last 12 chalters or so, but it felt bitter and ugly and unstable. And cold, cold longing ribboned the epilogue. I would go far as to say I hated it. Reminds me of that one open ended Spirk fic where Spock has amnesia and leaves Jim and the Enterprise and they see each otheragain many years later. Hated that too. 3.5
Love Me Dramatically
I love that he's ready to switch. Hyung is such a fucking handful, though. Noting that I live how htung recognised consent is consent, though (which, obviously, but it's yaoi so you gotta give credit for common sense). I wanna see them switch! 4.6
Entwined
Yukitoshi has a bit of an inferiority complex about his old classmate from university, Tomoe. Tomoe comes from a rich family, is perfect at work and a great lawyer. Yuki's old girlfriend even left him to join Tomoe's fanclub! When Tomoe gets headhunted to work for Yukitoshi's uncle's law firm, Yuki curses his bad luck. But is it really all bad? I really, really, really like Yuki! He is a lovely character! That gentleness and devotion, how hardworking he is, how compassionate he is. I really love it. Tomoe, though. Poor baby. What a terrible life he's had. Takashi was such an angel, to have loved him like his own flesh and blood for so long, despite being so young, himself. Not in a million years does Tomoe's cowardly, measly excuse for a brother deserve a hair on his head! And yet, Takashi will wait for him. Love is truly blind. It's amazing that Tomoe has remained so wonderful despite being treated like that by his family for so long. Overall, I felt the story should have been fleshed out and more detailed. Twice as long, if possible. As it is, it's hard to give the plot justice, but it was mostly still great. Sex scenes could have been shorter, the story didn't really need any. 5
Your Eyes, My Words
Hwane and Jinha had an odd sort of twisted relationship in high school where they made out with each other, but were too scared to confess their feelings. When graduation came and went without the air being cleared, the memories of their time together festered and became old wounds over the years. Neither thought they would see the other again, and yet... It was fine. Angsty as fuck and bittersweet; heavy on the bitter and not nearly sweet enough. I honestly didn't really like Hwane, tbh? He hadn't confessed to Jinha, either? During high school. But he had the gall to act like he was the only one being hurt. He lied about how they met, created problems in their relationship where little existed, never responded to Jinha's declarations of love and even broke up with him! But the way he dealt with that café owner was really good. The way he dealt with everything else, no. Jinha had his faults, but, wow. He does not deserve and ounce of the hate he's getting. 4.44
Hitsuji no Kawa wo Kita Kemono
Sweeta and innocent Daichi unwittingly falls for his sister's two-faced fiance. Tatsumi is scumbag. End of. It was so interesting, and I enjoyedthe plot. But he's still scum. Daichi is some saint or something. I don't see how they could ever work, were his sister to find out. Gosh. Poor baby. I just want him to be happy. 4.5
Assorted Wildness
This fucking story, I swear to God. I just wanted a simple, light read to keep me occupied. Instead, I ended up reading some God-forsaken Korean drama in manhwa form. Yeesh! Still gonna finish it, though. I'm hooked now!
Shitto wa ai o Kumoraseru
Kirino was a young pianist who peaked at 10 when he lost his beloved mother (a famous pianist, herself). Disillusioned with life and estranged from his father, he finds his doom and salvation both, in an up and coming new pianist, Takase, who seems to idol worship him. Again, unhealthy but strong relationship. I feel like they'll become healthier as they each come into their own more and more. Why are musical yaois always so angsty? ~Ahhh. 4.6
Love deficiency
Yoo Haa and Lee Sak are both people with difficult personalities, forced together by circumstances beyond their control. Can they make it work? It was good and all. Demo, nanka unsatisfying? Both characters were hard to like, but their pasts and trauma made it easier to understand why they were like that. And I truly did wish them well. But the end was still so vague and unsatisfying. I guess it was too unstable. And I also didn't particularly want Joon Young to get infected. I just, didn't like this one that much. 4
