Complete | MINAZUKI Akira | 2000 released

I dunno why this is getting such bad reviews. it's not that bad at all. 1: Yoshinaga has classical pretty boy looks but is a hard working baker by profession. Being judged based on his face al his life has made him very reserved and unsure of himself. When his path crosses with the persistent calligrapher, Kusaba, sparks fly. Seme is just too persistent 4* 2.1: When Haruka tells his childhood best friend, Souta, that he might go to England to study in a sister-school, Haruka is confronted with the depth of Souta's feelings for him, that go well beyond friendship. All right, not great, not too bad. 4*

Hana to Sumi

Complete | Kuniya kino | 2019 released

Eijun, the calligraphy artist and Eijun, a traditional flower arranger, were childhood friends who were very close, until Eijun realised his feelings and tries to put some distance between them. He succeeds for a while, but the tensions in the string that's been pulled too taught finally releases and they are pushed together yet again. A more realistic story about coming out, where not everyone around you is supportive and understanding. It's bittersweet, but I am glad for their unwavering resolution. I can't help but think sometimes, that gay couples tend to be more faithful. They're so determined. It was good, but sad. What I really loved, was how Kouki handled that little shit. Serves him right! Special mention to the extremely hot sex scenes. It is a good story, it just makes me sad. "Self-reflection... what do you mean by that? Did we do something wrong? All we did was fall in love". Ughhhh. My poor heart :'/ 4.4
