Storyline very commonplace. However extremely rare alpha who has learnt to think for himself in a messed up society. Uke was cute but seme steals the show 4.5 Edit: the mums are also just the best. Absolutely wonderful supporting characters, even the friends. Nicely done! 5

An all over the place little thing about an animal-human shapeshifter verse with deities and soulbonds and the like, that has, grudgingly, pulled me in. While it feels a bit disjointed and short, it's still very good. I just need to read more. The side characters are amazing here. Glad that uke is finally getting the love and tenderness he was denied from those who should have cherished him. Glad the king won't be quite as sad and lonely anymore. 4.6
