Kimi no Ahimoto de Ai wo shiru
Kippei is a sub with a lot of internalised hate for his dynamic, having had a traumatic experience when he was younger. When meds stop working for him, he ends up getting referred to a centre that matches doms and subs for play. Who should he meet there, but his dom coworker, who turns out to be a surprisingly lovely person. Honestly, it looks so good. But the trauma lurking in the background scares me. Edit: Oh, baby. Don't do this. Don't go and get hurt. Edit: The trauma was bad, but not terrible, nothing physical, at the very least. And he overcomes it. Man, this seme might be one of the top 5 best semes ever. Service tops are such a vibe, honestly. 5 I hope there's an extra, a couple more extras.
Shouta, Kimi wo Aishiteru
Rare are multiple story yaois done this *right*. What an absolute treat. 1: Shouta is a bit of a loner who longs to be in a relationship. One day, he picks up a handsome foreigner, Joshua, who looked weak and troubled, only to realise much later on that Josh is actually a famous American movie star. I really liked them? They were sweet and cute, if rushed. And they're good for each other. 4.6 3: Teppei is the cutest thing, who fell in love with Kazuki, a notorious delinquent at hold school. Kazuki disappears, leaving Teppei heartbroken, only to come back as a trained baker, to work in Teppei's family's bakery. Ohhh. They're so cute, so cute. I loved this one. Ahh. They're so darn adorable. 5 5: Azuma and Nishio just look like boss a d subordinate to the members of their small team, but in reality they've been together for years. Azuma is such an unexpected yet sweet uke. Very cute, overall. 4.7 Overall, enjoyed it a lot.
The Boss in the Bedroom
it absolutely is work place harrasment. this is super interesting but i hate how he's treating that random dude, nepotism or not.
Quiet Life Crisis
After way too many days of working in a high stress environment, Chihiro finds himself at a "massage parlour" that offers happy endings. Only, he falls asleep and ends up being serviced by the dude at the reception, Taiji! And when Taiji drops by to return the wallet Chihiro left behind, they somehow end up living together!? Taiji is just so, so pushy. I don't hate him but he was so creepy and pushy at the beginning. And overall, the mangaka just didn't sell either character well enough. Chihiro was so brave for confessing the way he did and his loneliness could have been a great angle to endear him to readers. But it wasn't used well. Taiji, with his many talents, could have been such a cool character too. But he just feels overbearing. Overall, it was hot and all. And a pleasant enough read. I'm just disappointed because it could have been so much more. 4.3
Pride ni Kiss
the lead up was good. the finale was kind of too tame. a bit disappointed.
My Demon Boss Gokudera Wants To Be Exposed
A bit angsty and a bit of dubcon but resolved itself well enough. 4.45
My Pudgy Co-worker Is a Snack
No, please, more, more, more!!!
Hey Bunny
hmm. It was hot, vut very underdeveloped. S&M story set in a office. No real chemistry, negotiation or respect on the part of seme. 4.3
It's Not Like That (Gangto)
Iro, an erotic bl writer joins a beer manufacturing company because of pressure from his parents. His application causes a misunderstanding that piques the President's interest. It was good, nothing exceptional, but nothing to actively criticise, either. The characters were just a little bland, but I certainly can't hate them for it. The plot was straightforward and not anything special but the art was cute. Overall, it was pleasant, but unnecessarily long. I did really like that Iro quit the job later on and continued to write, though. 4.55
Komyushou Riiman wa Koi no Shikata ga Wakarimasen
