Fascinating and incredibly tender with characters that come alive on the pages. Executed a cliche plot with unbelievable uniqueness. Genuinely so impressed Edit: Still amazing. Superb character and excellent capture of emotions

Angsty unrequited but actually requited story with wasted eons stretching on Edit: It was standadrd fare to some extent, one bestfriend having more than friendly feelings for the other- but what nakes this different and so frustrating is that Rion knew Masaki was in love with him. He knew for years! Was even aware of his own budding feelings, but still, they wasted so. Many. Goddamn. Years. Utterly frustrating. Also, I didn't find either of the characters to inspire any strong feelings within me, though both were nice and not annoying or anything. 4.3

1: Aki has some crazy self restraint, and he did handle Jun's sudden interest and persistence and even his own feelings really well. Laying down the law and all that, after 5 years of unrequited love. Plus, he's so hoooot. I can definitely see where Jun got hooked. And Jun too, no matter how much he plays at being loose, you can tell he's genuinely into him, and xares a great deal about him. 5 4: Chihara is one bonafide lunatic, but thankfully, Tsutomu is equipped to handle him, in every single way 4

Shima is such a teddy bear seme, I love these caring and powerful types, when I'm in that sort of mood. Haruki is certainly very hard to get a read on at first, but he does become very transparent as the story progresses. He is. Very different, as an uke. Fairly straightforward, honest, not particularly shy in bed, not overly lewd either. Mostly maybe because the story doesn't revolve around sex. And that's okay. I would have loved a steamy scene after all that teasing, but the story doesn't *need* it either. It was good, a light read, tackling difficult subjects such a loneliness, loss and being left behind, while still being up beat. 4.7 Side story: Side story about Aya and Yoshimasa, forced housemates (their dads are friends) who actually get along very well. The theme of respectful and capable semes holds here, and I liked that Yoshimasa would consider moving just so that he can protect Aya, from himself, at that! It was good. 4.5

I found Nishino to be all over the place with his feelings. Maki's feelings too seemed to pop up out of nowhere in the first chapter, because of how much was skipped. The angst and nosy exes and misunderstandings, they really milked that angle for all it's worth- and then some. I didn't hate it, of course. But it wasn't the best, either. Also, give Nishino some wiggle room, ffs! This is kind of a lot to be dumped on him all at once! 4.2

Okay, what the fuck? What is wrong with this fucking dorm and these two guys? They weren't aware that they were new roommates and had already clashed outside the conbini where seme works, because frankly the uke is an entitled dick, the likes of which are rare, and the seme is an anal retentive asshole. I am honestly shocked by the way this is developing. Shocked and intrigued. And meanwhile, the couple next door is having rough BDSM and candle play. Crazy shit.

It was cute. Built up some weird kinda suspense in my heart, excited me, but didn't really go anywhere. Just a simple story about a gay boy (who fantasizes way too much) who falls in love and finally confesses to his straight friend (he's living with family friends since his parents are in Italy) and his confession gets accepted. It was sweet, short and fluffy, there was no drama, nothing really special about the plot, just a simple, sweet story. Characters were nice. Started with a handjob in the first chapter, but ended with nothing else and no kiss or sex. 4.5

1: Ryoa and Io are roommates and sex friends, who eventually realise their feelings and develop a serious relationship. It felt shallow? The progression from sex friends to lovers, the author tried hard to reflect it, but it still fel unnatural and insincere. Plus, Io looks like a little child, and that is major squick. And also, the characters were both not that attractive, in terms of their personalities 4: Amuch cuter story than the first. Rintarou ventures into the forbidden forest to catch fish to feed his ailing mother and meets the rumoured evil fox demon, Shiranui. Such a sweet, wholesome story. The way they were willing to die for each other and how they were both such kind people, really make this story. Glad there wasn't a smut scene. It would have ruined it. 4.5

Nozomu and Rin are childhood friends who graduated high school without losing their virginity and moved to Tokyo together to get good jobs and girlfriends. They end up creating manga. This was so much more serious and wholesome than the first chapter would have you believe. I. It's difficult, certainly, Nozomu took that rejection much better than I would have. Even letting Rin back into his life in that way and willing to take the chance and be hurt, all over again. I'm glad that Rin didn't unnecessarily prolong it, and Sawamichi was so lovely. It's rare to have girls like her in yaoi. I'm just glad they're happy together now. 4.7

Oh, boy. This gives me the absolute creeps. Saccharine and seemingly perfect. I bet something unbelievably twisted is going to rear it's head along the plot line Edit: The rating's dropped real low as well, while I wasn't looking. Opting out Edit: Aaaand, those who had 'childhood friend pretending to be dead brother via phone' on their bingo cards, please step forward! What's even more absurd than that whole situation is how uke suddenly bounced back from months of trauma so deep that he forgot his brother died. Like, what? Whatrrrr???! 3.4
