Jimmy is a pickpocket who gets detained and made to apologise and work for a day (for pay) by an excop (Reese). He plans revenge but ends up falling for Reese. It was an intriguing and unique plot. I love how they have now changed each other's lives forever. Jimmy has been instrumental in Reese getting over his trauma and Reese has made a honest man out of Jimmy. They're really good for each other. The feel of the story was somehow more sincere and genuine than I had come to expect from yaoi.

Shun gets busted to his long term rival (only in his head) at work, Ichinose, with a vibrator up his ass. Things devolve into a convoluted friends with benefits situation. Shun thinks he's just getting revenge on Ichinose, who clearly seems to have a thing for him. But... I surpisingly liked this one. The uke (Shun) sure shows some character growth. The seme (Ichinose) being so oblivious and sincere definitely was funny and refreshing. And I was just so glad Shun found happiness, after his truma and sadness was revealed in the last chapter. His old sex friend was so cool and chill, btw. That's rare in yaoi. The sex was so weirdly sweet and hot at the same time, even though there wasn't much of a depiction of it. I also loved that their sex drives were so in tune! 4.6

After his father tragically passes away in jail and his father's bestfriend whom he calls uncle) dies in an accident, Heyun finds out that the company his father and uncle spent their lives building up from scratch (Ding Rong Electronics) has been promised away to some stranger who is his uncle's wife's brother. Not standing for what is clear subterfuge, Heyun tries to dig into matters, only to come face to face with the arrogant Cheng Ding, the new successor who seems strangely familiar. Aside from the initial lack of judgement, I really do think Heyun is some kind of freaking saint, honestly. I know that all of the previous heads were in the wrong, but yeesh. Cheng Ding had a very, very messed up sense of justice. Glad Heyun's tenderness finally showed him how wrong he was. At least he's making a great effort to sustain the relationship now, just like Heyun. And so glad they can now begin to be happy. They really do deserve it. 5

Yuuya, a loner, fell in love with Ryuji, the popular guy at school who befriended him. But after his confession got rejected and they share a sexual moment, Yuuya overhears that Ryuuji cares way more about popularity than their friendship or his feelings and privacy. After Yuuya transfers, they meet again in university. Is reconciliation possible? Ryuuji certainly did his best to redeem himself. But the rape, ughhh. Also, the students at their uni kinda suck. 4.1

It's not an easy read. And it's not exactly a rainbow and sunshine ending. But it's happy, all the same, in their own way. Both of them suffered so much and lost so much. They really deserve this happiness. 5

It's dark but good. I might attempt this again when I feel like reading something dark. Ch 12

It's not that it's not good. It's absolutely brilliant. But all of them are insane. Certifiably. Either psychopaths or sociopaths or something else along the lines. It's just kind of hard to read. But I will, because I would like to see Sang heal. Dropping for now but I'll definitely take another crack at this later. Ch 26

I kinda hate it, tbh. I'll still read it, I need to know what happens next, but this is making me feel terrible for the kid.

It is. Incredibly hard to read this. I know it had a tragedy tag, but Godammit. I didn't think the most innocent child in all of this would bear the brunt of things. God. She was just 10. It's hard to keep going. Especially since I don't really think Ariadne has anything to recommend her by. She didn't deserve this second chance. And while I don't especially love Alphonso's wishy-washy personality, he certainly deserves better than these psychotic sisters. Ch 65

Translation turned pretty bad mid-way. I can't even really understand everything. But I still read it because the plot is absolutely incredible. Top notch, really interesting. MC's great, the good support characters are also great, but the plot is phenomenal. Ch 55
