Oh! So it's not time travel, but a body swap??! Fascinating!!

Right, right, right. So, first of all, brilliant idea for an anthology. Just, excellent. 1: Reborn as wife to the unloving Leocigil, Fineric just tries to live his best life loving his child, but ends up having the dude fall in love with him. I don't really know about this one. Why did he not love his "wife", to begin with? Because he enjoyed flirting with him? That's just super weird. 4.3 2: Johan is born as a super powerful character into an otome game he is familiar with, but ends up getting together with the main and having the main female lead and main female love rival cheering him on. Genuinely so happy because everyone's so nice! This one's a winner! 4.8 3: Kobayashi ends up in bl Ouran High Host Club and tries to help the mains get together but instead ends up catching the student council president's eye himself! Fun little read! 4.7 4: Haine is reincarnated into the story of one of his favourite bl games and acts the villain so that Miko, the summoned hero (who has no memories of Earth or his previous life) can end up with the prince. Things get convoluted halfway through. Unexpected ending and I kinda enjoyed it, along with leaving the prince behind in the dust (even though Haine was being cruel. I don't care. Sue me). 4.45 5: Yoda ends up in a game he often likes to play. Can he let the unfortunate main character, Michael, have a the happy ending that doesn't seem to be programmed into the game? Off putting because he raises him. It's just weird. 3.8 6: Okay, wow. Hurier, who died tragically in his teens with an unrequited love, decides that in his new life as the mediocre son of a ducal household, he'll take in an orphan and spoil them rotten so that he'll be loved in return. But when he meets little Altheo, his plans go out the window. I am pretty disgusted with this one, ngl. He didn't go through with it, but he definitely tried to groom a kid, which is portrayed so lightly here??? 2.5 Even if the totals don't add up, still rating this 4.4 overall, for an excellent idea.

Adam was reincarnated in the demon realm, which exists between Earth and Hell. There, he is immediately taken under the wing of a mysterious benefactor, Demi, who seems to have much to hide. I felt Adam's relief in letting go, when he realised how well he was being remembered, how much light he had brought to the humans. I also love that he said he cannot forgive Demi on behalf of the other humans; he was absolutely right. But he also didn't let that stop him from loving Demi. Overall, interesting plot and engaging characters, even if not black and white. 5

Rei lived and died a life full of abuse. When he gets reincarnated in a fantasy world as a slave who gets rescued by a passing elf lord, will he finally have a chance at happiness? Sometimes ratings make no sense. This is one of those times. Between the way Rei's malnourished body looks like a child's and the unhealthy power imbalance and the petty high school mean boy cliques, I truly did not enjoy this. 3/5

Kotone is transported to another world as he lay dying from a freak accident that happened while he was browsing the bl aisle of a manga store. Turns out he's been summoned to a real life bl setting where he is the chosen one who must have sex with the azure dragon to help the sacred beast complete his transformation. I love how self aware Kotone is. It makes it so much more fun to read, as an avid bl consumer. All that reference to consent was really refreshing, given the premise. 5 Ch 70

Absolutely fascinating. Can't say I care for the saint, at all, though. Aresh was a bit stuck in his ways, not really understanding the lives of the common people. But he does character development so well. Sei could use some better metric for sense of self, but I do love him. I actually love this character. He's awesome. 5

Tsubaki is a gamer who, despite trying, did badly at school and thus got left behind by society. Tired with his sad circumstances, he wishes to be transported into the world of a game he frequently plays, only to have it come true in quite an unexpected way. It's cute and interesting. And I feel so bad for Tsubaki, who didn't have it great in his previous world. I really want him to be happy now. I think his black circles are diminishing? Anyway, I am enjoying this. Sex scenes were lacklustre, though.

Ch 13

Shu gets hit by a bus trying to save an old lady crossing the street and gets reincarnated into a medieval world, as a slave to the 4th prince of the kingdom, Jadeite. Through a convoluted plot involving genocide, slavery and several secretive sinister plots, the two fight to stay together. I think Jadeite might just be the most respectful, kindest and sincerest seme of all time. I am so incredibly impressed. Shu is such a good guy, obviously. But I am in love with the gentle cinnamon bun that is Jadeite. 5

Isekai where a regular woman is sucked into a novel she loves, as one of the side villain characters (Edith). She then sets about changing the plot so that her favourite, the mc (Edith's nephew) gets to live a peaceful and happy life. Edith is smarter than many women in shoujos, and the plot is interesting. She still does portray some shoujo female lead characteristics, and it does grate on my nerves but overall, she's fun. More importantly, there are a lot of mysteries within the plot that are making me super anxious. 14.7 Ch 54
