Wow yes, didn’t expect to read through this in one sitting but here I am with tears in my eyes!! I liked the comedic moments but the overall seriousness definitely got me, the comedy did good timing to lighten the mood. This Manhua really got me in those moments where they talked about trust, mine is definitely shattered and I have lots of walls up still. In those moments I could feel a lump in my throat and the back of my throat/ mouth would heat up as well as my eyes (I think I’m describing crying but I don’t really cry so that shows how this got to me damn)

Heesu in Class 2

Complete | Lily | 2017 released

Awwww such a cute story, a little bit of a slow burn, also hits a little close to home on the first love childhood crush thing .....anyway I wonder if there is a sequel? Seemed like the side story would lead to a sequel but in terms of the main story I really enjoyed reading and had to stop myself from reading it all in one night

Here U Are

Complete | DJun | 2000 released

With gorgeous art and hilarious wit, DJUN crafted a masterful slowburn BL, that hooked me in! At times I was frustrated at how easily things can be miscommunited or misconstrued but this is life and this BL reflects that in a genuine yet sometimes funny way while also maintaining aspects of reality and giving doses of advice to consider in the real word. Ironically the subplot with Wangwang being a BL obsessed matchmaker not considering real world ramifications, this Bl did drop some gems of wisdom through the rich characterization and narratives it told. Bonus were the tidbits at the end of chapters about Chinese culture to contextualize the story a bit more.
