This is probably the darkest, most intense yaoi I’ve read. In this deep black story, in contrast, there’s so much light that blinds me. Near the end, it hit me so hard when, in what it should be the happiest moment (making love to your partner), Director is actually thinking about his depression, and how difficult it is to fight this mental issue, being it like waves that come and go. It was beautiful, I cried my eyes out. This is a beautiful story about salvation, indeed.

I really loved this. The art is so amazing, a jewel to look at. The only crack in this perfect manga is when Kei decided to befriend Nanase’s ex and rapist. I actually liked the idea of the mangaka of having a scene where they meet and he get to explain why he behaved like that, and that he really loved him, but still. It should have ended with the punch. He had his chance to truly love Nanase but decided to scar him and then leave, now he can just go f*** himself for life. All this just takes the attention away from the beautiful main story.

The most BEAUTIFUL art in a manga that I’ve ever seen! Stunned by it, the beauty of the characters and their personality, as well as the beauty of the story. Amazing, truly one of the cutest shounen ai. Tho, I need to admit I would have liked to see more of their couple life..as well as a kiss, but I can’t be too greedy!
