Nishina and Miyama used to date in highschool. Not able to subvert societal rules, Nishina breaks up woth Miyama to live a "normal"life. 10 years later, Nishima, freshly divorced, is still unsatisfied and unhappy until he meets Miyama unexpectrdly at his cafe.
Hard when one partner is openly gay and willing to go through anything while another is unsure. Of course, they were in highschool and this is a hard decision to make especially in a strict, conservative society. Miyama deserves love beyond all and Nishina is still fighting with his sexuality. Love how realistic this is....how it may not be forever. But given the course of Nishina's growth, the way he stated it doesnt matter anymore, they are definitely heading there! Wish the author didnt joke about his conservativeness in the last chapters, makes N seem less inclined. But thats me being picky
