Yuureitou

Complete | Nogizaka Tarou | 2000 released

I loved reading this in all honestly! The only thing that was off putting was the author's cognitive dissonance towards trans people. He draws Tetsuo in fetishized cover art, yet separates it from the actual plot and pushes the narrative that Tetsuo is man. Tetsuo's character is developed so well the cover art seems to just be some kind of bait. Not only that, but the villain is supposed to be a trans woman?? The character is the spitting image of transmisogyny and pushes the stereotype that trans women are narcissistic predators. This was released back in 2010 though, so I'm not surprised.
