45 - never expected his ex to be that much of a rag but it is what it is. uke is currently stressing over her words because hes realized that hes in love with someone that "loves no one" but remains conflicted about his actions giving him the wrong message. seme is also finally ACKNOWLEDGING his potential feelings and maybe he'll react to them with something other than angrily lashing out. ukes little brother is sick as fuck and it gives the uke ptsd panic flashbacks to when he lost his mother.
37 - surprisingly the misunderstanding is cleared up in this chapter just a tiny bit. uke thinks he’s a replacement after seeing his exs photo in the paper along with the fake photo of them hanging out (it was the uke not the Ex) seme reassures him that he’s not meeting with his ex and that the person in the photo is actually him and he doesn’t think he’s ugly.
36 - worst communicators ever. they have sex and the seme is too impatient to take his time with the uke & essentially wrecks him beyond repair. instead of talking it out they both assume the worst and lash out at eachother. they go to dinner by chance and the uke cant handle the food being so rich and vomits. seme treats it like hes too stupid to function. then as if that want enough the seme gets offended that the sex was hard on him and brings up that no woman hes ever fucked had a problem so why are u meaking a big deal? i could beat his damn brains in. Uke retaliates and now were back at zero. the butler is freaking out because the gossip rags are using the photo of the uke to say that hes back with his ex and the stress of he seme finding that out in his current poor condition would be seriously detrimental.
24 - The two of them have become aware of each other. the mansion is currently hosting a party and towards the end the duke goes to the isolated hut where the uke is with the excuse of getting drinks (cuz he cant get him out of his mind.) and just before he can make him a martini it starts raining so they rush inside.
about a guy who's broke AF after the death of his mother in hospice care and the death of his father from a work accident left to take care of his 5 or so y/o brother. While working a hotel job as a janitor that works really well for him since he can sometimes take the leftovers from the buffet hall for dinner. He finds someones wallet in the bathroom hes cleaning and while debating over whether or not to keep the phat wad of cash inside he sees the guys family photo. The owner of the wallet catches him with it (he went back to the bathroom for it) and sees that he looks uncannily similar to his brothers ex and hires him to work at is brothers mansion (pretty sure he got him fired to do that).
His first day there he gets ignored and sent to the hut, 10 days later the duke gets lost on his own property and ends up meeting him. things happen the uke gets kicked by the dukes horse and plays it off like he wasnt injured. embarrased that hes lost he goes inside and refuses all his good gestures until he gets picked up by the butler. later the butler brings paper cups like he was told and finds him practically passed out and rushes him to the hospital (somewhere traumatic for him considering that his mother died with basically no help) he refuses treatment and is forced to get it. for FREE since the duke wont charge him and he cant take the handout (out of pride??) anyway. he leaves after 1 or 2 days and they put him in the main house. the duke tries to be good to him by throwing money at him but the guy has premium sticker shock so everything he does comes off as ??? crass and he refuses everything. fully convinced that the guy hates him even tho he doesnt, he just wants him to stop looking so damn pitiful.
