The real ML is Anakin, a commoner escort knight (bam one cliché down where MC always falls in love with someone of higher status) The sudden change in the 3 OG MLs attitude towards Eris disgusts MC and that really solidifies her resolve to never fall in love in this novel world and pushes her to find a way to escape (another cliché gone, MC wants to actually LEAVE and doesn’t forgive those who hurt her, even tho it wasn’t really her they hurt) The 3 OG MLs all realize very quickly that Eris hasn’t simply “changed” bc of a suicide attempt. And it’s common knowledge for the main cast pretty early on that current Eris is someone from another world Helena, the OG heroine, is not evil. She’s actually really cool too. She’s a maid and is forced to marry the prince bc he uses his status to force his love onto her. She has a really sad past too. But YAY TO HEALTHY FEMALE RELATIONSHIPS, no cliché evil OG heroine Romance? Eris does fall in love with Anakin. And the way the author writes it out is really amazing. The way love is portrayed is that love is an emotion you can’t control. But something regarding love that you can control is whether you act on that love. And Eris will not act on her love for Anakin, meaning to her, escaping the novel world is still more important than her love for Anakin Ending: Eris eventually finds a witch who tells her the only way to escape is through death, which is like the one thing she can’t do due to the laws of the novel world. So in the end she convinces Anakin to kill her and burn her body and stop the other 3 guys from reviving her. I remember reading Anakin’s thoughts on this and it was so sad More clichés gone out the window: Anakin does kill Eris and stops the other 3 guys from reviving her. She successfully returns to the modern world. It’s left a bit open ended, but it’s hinted that Anakin and Eris will reunite in the living world. Tia's mother, She came from a secret tribe with powers. But when they use it- something grave is due to exchange. Tia's mother has the power to see the future and in exchange her life force is slowly drained. In Tia's case she isnt someone who is a full blooded tribe member, she's half hence she cant use her power. The only reason why she came back to the past was because that was her gifted powers. Unfortunately due to her being half blooded, time travel is only possible once and only once. That's the price she has to pay including her dying to activate it :) I just read that part and now I get it. Shan was a Southerner that Ropili/Lopili was talking about in the book that Tia used to clobber Ballsack. But a little correction. Tia is actually more powerful as a half-blood. Magic for that tribe is a one-type manifested ability, and the cost of such an ability is proportional like a curse. However, being half-blood Tia managed to get only the power without the cost. Also got rejected by Eris(not the og one.) Fl is slowly falling in love with Anakin but keeps pushing down her feelings because she doesn’t want to grow attached to him since she’s gonna leave soon. Fl asks the empress to annul her engagement with the crown prince in order to do that the empress tells her to teach Helena etiquette and manners because she wants to make Helena crown princess.Fl agrees. Fl father gets arrested for opening a gate full off monsters during a fireworks festival. Fl gets sent to the palace for “questioning” but Alecto the prince attempts to r@pe her in order other to bind her to him so she can’t annul her engagement.Because he needs Eris’s family‘s power to protect Helena.( the whole idea came from the emperor who basically ordered him to do it.) Fl ends up killing Alecto in self defence after he tried to sexually assault her. That’s all I read I hope it helps. I think in chapter 25 abigail had wrong impression that both the king and miriam are children The king was 15, and the one who forced him to have sex is the mom/the adults The wife forced him too, but from what i see she's just echoing the adults's opinion, i haven't read that far, but it's stated that the first wife was as young as the king, so maybe she pushed him to quickly have an heir because she was pushed by the adults too? I mean she's young and her mindset is heavily influenced by the adults, so even though she had a role in forcing him, i think the fault is still on the adults? The former king forbid other men from approaching the princesses and he's super strict and affectionate to them, Vanessa then married the duke (Ruediger's father)to get away from the palace. Vanessa and Sophia (Ruediger's mother) is super close to each other, they are friends and the reason why Sophia took care of Jonas when he was a baby is because he looked like Vanessa. The reason why Judith abused Luca is because her sister died giving birth to him and Luca doesn't even look like Judith's sister instead Luca looks like Jonas. In a party (forgot which part that is) Franz almost proposed to Judith in front of everyone but Ruediger stopped him and the potato head from the village revealed that Judith isn't Luca's Mother. The former king (Judith's grandfather) stepped in to help Judith, later on the former king took Judith to the palace and he doesn't allow Ruediger to come see her. Judith meet all the other princesses who's also annoyed with the former king because he's over protective and doesn't allow anyone to come near them. Franz later on was sneaking in Judith's room in the palace, the winterwalds duchy is banned from entering the palace, Ruediger found Franz sneaking in and they fought. Judith was there with Luca, they set up a trap for Franz and when Ruediger shot Franz, Franz also shot Judith which made her unconcious for 3 days, in that 3 days Judth was remembering her past life. Judith is the original Judith and she felt bad how she treated Luca before and she didn't even apologize, while Luca on the other hand was worrying about Judith too. Ruediger's POV is him fell in love at first sight but he couldn't tell if that is love, Ruediger didn't love Luca but more like Luca is a sense of responsibility as a uncle. Luca's POV of Judith became much better he thought that she changed too and decided to trust her in the end and when Luca knew that Ruediger doesn't love him, he realized that Judith is much better. Judith didn't like Ruediger romantically but she still fell in love with him at the end and when Judith woke up 3 days later she found that Ruediger is lying besides her with his eyebags from crying in 3 days. Ruediger almost commited suicide because he thought Judith was dying but the others stop him. Later on they have a daughter and it was a happy ending and their daughter's name is Ludovica.
