Read til ch.10 https://bato.to/series/145591 So far, its pretty good, but LN Ending: the ML is a psychopath and super evil. in the most simple way possible, the FL ends up basically having to kill the ML to save the world. she kills him, while making a deal w/ the gods to have the ability to revive him, and choses to stay in this world instead of going back to her og world. (but of course there's a catch to every deal!) yrs pass and the FL wakes up with immortality after a super long coma, and the ML is revived BUT as a corpse. (he basically can't feel anything including hunger, doesn't have a heartbeat so he's undead) and that's the ending. immortal human × zombie. apparently it's supposed to be an open ending with some tragedy SPOILERS https://www.novelupdatesforum.com/threads/villainous-husband-the-one-you%E2%80%99re-obsessed-with-is-over-there-%EC%95%85%EC%97%AD-%EB%82%A8%ED%8E%B8%EB%8B%98-%EC%A7%91%EC%B0%A9%ED%95%A0-%EB%B6%84%EC%9D%80-%EC%A0%80%EC%AA%BD%EC%9D%B8%EB%8D%B0%EC%9A%94.122057/page-6 FL is stuck at the Empress' Palace, Cissen and Sylvia is imprisoned, but she's still served by the other ladies in waiting (some Duchess and a Countess). FL is super afraid of ML at this point and pushes him away, doesn't eat much etc. ML, who now sees that FL truly doesn't love him, also doesn't go to her palace much bc he doesn't like how she's afraid of him. The nobles realize how obsessed ML is with FL. He should've killed her for her betrayal but he didn't. ML also doesn't leave the palace anymore bc he's worried FL will run away. (So he won't go to war which Actillians are obsessed with) Hence, the Actillus loyalists decide to kill FL because she's a distraction. The duchess and countess poison FL slowly. Meanwhile, FL realizes that ML do have some feelings for her and decide to beg him to release her loyal handmaidens (Cissen and Sylvia). This is bc it's difficult for FL now to move that she has no one she cant trust surrounding her. However, FL faints because she's poisoned. ML takes her to his bedroom where she's treated. After she wakes up, ML becomes even more paranoid and allows no one to enter his bedroom. When FL is healed, he leaves to deal with the nobles. He kills the duchess and dresses her as FL, and announces that the empress is dead. The nobles know it's fake (raniero didn't try to hide it) but this is Raniero's sign to not touch FL. Meanwhile, FL goes kinda mad after being confined to the emperor's bedroom. Angie is originally timid and now she's there for hours, with no one to talk to, no books, no watches, nothing to pass the time. Because of that, she welcomes Raniero warmly when he comes back. She decides to be nice to ML bc he's the only way for her to survive and he holds her at the palm of his hands. This is where the novel starts to be fucked up. ML is very happy to see FL welcome him, and he realizes that this happened bc FL is left alone for hours. His psycho brain turns on and thinks, then, if he confines FL for hours and makes him her world, wouldn't she love him most? Make him the only one FL' s life. He toys with FL, leaving her in the room for hours at a time so he could see her happily welcome him back. He'd kinda threaten FL that he'd abandon her forever in that room alone so she'd cling to him...FL's mind slowly breaks and she began to live only for ML , telling him she loves him and drowning herself in pleasure. She doesn't even wear clothes in the bedroom anymore. At the back of her mind, she realizes that ML is truly psycho. He doesn't mind her being broken as long as she stays by his side. However, she has no choice but to love him or else she'd be left in that room alone. This continues until Eden and Co. saves her. After she's taken out of there, she feels alive and like a human again. She feels immense gratitude to Eden, Richard, Sylvia and Cissen. She decides to be the Saintess and kill Raniero because, else, he'd kill her saviors and Actillus will destroy the world. Also, she wants to show gratitude to them who never gave up on her (especially Eden, she wants him to be able to return to his world).
