Troll Trap
very shounen manhwa. but the execution is very good. for some reason, it reminds me of fairytail (igni (ignia); bc of the mc and his rival/friend's powers and dynamics.) gina is the type of woman who would turn any woman gay the dark-skinned guy is pretty hot too. ch 69. the plot thickens! the chairman, whom I presumed a pretty neutral guy, could be an antagonist. he's partnered up with the guy behind the experiments of trolls, and he also agreed to clinical trials with participants... edit: ok, he's definitely a lawful evil guy ch 86. honestly, i want the whole world to be demolished for mc to enact his wrath and grief. finally, his past was revealed, and boy, i didn't really expect that. i mean i did, but there was another piece that deepened my sympathy for mc. it was a twist revealed at the perfect moment that changed my opinions of certain charas, and the following events that changed the plot from trolls vs trappers to half-blood team vs trolls & the other trappers

Weak Hero
ch 14. his philosophy about it being cowardly to involve other people to lessen torment to oneself isn't wrong, but it's kinda extreme. what if your loved ones are being threatened? and law enforcers is useless? ch. 33 STEPHAN AHN SUPREMECY. bro is a real hero, a genius who is naturally compassionate and self-sacrificing. hands down, best friend chara in manhwa. edit: damn the other character (alex, ben, and gerald) also have amazing friends. ch99. damn. their friendship is really touching. ch143. i just realize, donald da kinda look like callisto...no wonder i thought he was hot ch150. *cries* ch201. ngl even though there are a lot of reoccurring antagonists who oppose our guys, some of their male comradeships with their friends are something to be admired. ch249.
Golden Kamui
bruh im on ch 45 and the tag "war hero takes a child, etc etc" completely spoiled the plot twist, if it's true. don't put the plot points in the tags. on the other hand, i love how immersive yet informative of the story. it's not told in an info dump type of way, and it's entertaining. the action is quite good, the stakes are pretty high, and the few comedic moments are so funny. the antagonists are so interesting as well, the samurai who wish to recreate a war, the lieutenant who wants to take over hokkaido, and the other convicts with tattooed skin, their plotlines interwoven together by the allure of gold... it's a really goddamn good story. ch 72. LMAO this entire chapter was bizarrely hilarious. who comes up with 'psychopaths bonding over shared hobby of stitching human flesh together into clothing'? there's even a catwalk scene LOL. not to mention a few chapter back about the gay couple?? that was absolutely peak comedy. ch 120. ok the author's either bi, or he just like men's bodies. the scene where the guys got all sexually aroused because of the sea otter meat's smoke? and the sauna scene where the men's muscular bodies were on full display?? jesus damn I'm not complaining tho.
WindBreaker
nothing groundbreaking, but execution and themes are exceptional. usually in a fighting story where mc aims for the top position, it focuses on martial techniques and strategies and overcoming all kinds of challengers and puts relationships on the back burner. but for this, it's the opposite. it's really great, but sometimes it's so idealistic and heartwarming that it's cringey. they're just so... ridiculously good people. it would be great if communities such as furin were more common in real life. anyway, I'm looking forward to eyepath's arc and going in depth with mc's backstory
