had to detract a star with how the plot/arcs is going. also, the villains are so comically evil now that I have to suspend my disbelief more. i get that they're deconstructions of the tropes of CN, but they're getting too ridiculous to be taken seriously; they're all now the same poorly-written cookie-cutter evil bitch who are just props for mc to show off her amazing-ness. the tension is very nonexistent bc the arcs are very fast-paced, and the extras are idiots. also, can we please not put so much emphasis on dressing mc for a photoshoot? like she looks great in them, but more time should be allotted for the dialogue/writing.

even after jiwon's character development, I still dislike him even when I knew the reason he's a rude bastard. sure he's somewhat pitiful and is reasonably distrustful and spiteful, but he obviously knows uke is in love with him but still fuck with him? he should've cut it off sooner, no matter how harsh his words are gonna be, to spare him the heartbreak that he once experienced before. jiwon's redemption is too short. sure, he realized his feelings and stalked uke for a while, but it's not enough (i mean, sure he helped uke when he's sick, but didn't uke done the same for him, but he just told him off...like rude much?). I gotta admit, I was very happy when uke rejected him, but my happiness cooled down when uke admits he still loves jiwon. and then he kisses and forgives(?) everything after jiwon confessed (like, whyyyy??? that easily?? *sigh* (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ ). of course, I can't say I really like uke. he's very cute and precious...but he willingly dove into a pit called 'fuck buddies', fell for the seme when he shouldn't have, and his actions sometimes fairly incurred his irritation. i just wished he handled the situation a bit better. they're both idiots ig. that said, I think this is so popular bc the seme and smut is hot. fav. character is definitely the coworker. he's so supportive of uke and his personality is so lovable!!

it's just terrible. the author probably wants a "strong fl" and romance, but he/she messed it all up. instead of "strong" fl, we get weak who falls in love with asshole AGAIN. no common sense- who would fall in love with an asshole again who hated you and love another woman? too much romance and not enough plot and executed poorly with the typical tropes of a modern romance manhua. it was alright but it just gets more annoying, like the author just wants to drag things out and write more chapters filled with drama to get more readers.
