Owari no Seraph
looks like mika's feelings for yuu is canon. but it's likely yuu's end up with shinoa. not that she's bad, she' very much so in love with him, but mika and yuu's bond is on a whole another level. they're willing to sacrifice the world if it could save the other
Yakusoku no Neverland
the first arc was crazy good, so full of suspense and uncertainty, and the second arc (goldy pond) falls a tiny bit short, then it just downhill from there. poor storytelling, norman and ray (esp ray) turning into side charas in favor of emma, due to which the story started turning a bit too contrived, poorly established new charas, lacking chara developments, skipping over the details of how norman escaped the facility, lacking buildup and suspense, etc. sigh, the most interesting thing about this was the psychological, mystery, and horrifying aspects, but it completely just throws that out of the window. the high-ranking demons were handled way too easily compared to the early battles of wit against isabella, and the demons of goldy pond. and even if norman is a genius, it's hard to imagine that he can outsmart demons that lived for 1000 years, esp when he is still a teenager.

ch5. damnn... unrequited love rocks when its actually angsty this is everything I ever want in bl. i want it not strictly bl, but with bl elements that are delved into, and grounded themes many can relate to. such as reconciling and dealing with unrequited feelings for someone of the same gender. i love how everything mc learns with each character culminates into an intense montage of mc being so utterly torned over the revelation that his childhood friend was in love with him. it turned everything upside down, but mc wouldn't have responded so maturely without having those discussions with mani about girls and boys being friends, and masuo and his friends' consultation about homophobia. i have to admit, i was with the girl duo's opinion but shingo's logical counterargument and masuo's disclosure about his being molested really put masuo's homophobic feelings into perspective. that was probably my favorite part of the story.
Will you marry me again if you are reborn?
ch11. uhhhhh... did the sister (7) get married with the older dude(32)???
Juuyoku no Chigiri
ending was rushed. the concept intrigued me, but the storytelling was bland. could've been more intense and sorrowful. also, they deserved it.
Hitori to Hitori no 3650nichi
first story wasnt all that sad. the art is really nice tho. the uke didn't feel fleshed out enough for me to care. if the mangaka intended his entire characterization to be miserable, regretful, and pitiful, then they succeeded. bc he has no other personality. he feels like a plot device instead of a person. and it doesnt feel particularly sad or angsty bc of the seme. i was bitterly thinking how nice that the seme is so kind and gentle and conveniently there to comfort, save, and baby him. tho, my callousness might be attributed to my lack of love life, so i cant relate to his situation much.
