Asagao wa Yoru kara Saku
it's very touching, lighthearted, and bittersweet, and the motif of morning glories adds more nuance. did cry, but yeah, it's a bit of a tearjerker. i like that the author didn't try to make a big drama of this premise. the shortness of the story makes it more precious.
Fray
this is actually pretty good. but needs more polishing. the ending has no conclusion, but i wanna think it's cuz the author had to finish it quickly, not that it's the original ending... cuz that wouldve been a badly-wrritten ending tbh.
Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan
it's def sad, i cried a bit, but ill prob forget this in a week's time edit: well i didn't forget over a week's time, but not the saddest I've ever read
The Tears of a Jester
ch42. the novel is beautifully written. the manhwa, while it's still good, doesn't do it justice. anyway, it's really a tragedy where every chara (except for fenton) is a victim to some extent. even tho the king is def the root cause of this tragedy i do feel bad for him. also, can this even be considered a true 'romance'? cuz it seem like verona see him more like a pet rather than love interest
Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi
im so confused about the spider web string the killer was seeing? it ended up not that relevant or explained anyway, so why was this even added? his backstory was confusing. i felt that there was some details that was just glossed over, but ig it wasnt so important
About Death Manhwa
Rather philosophical. The premise is actually really simple- basically anecdotes of different individuals who experience different manners of death and meet god, in the afterlife (maybe purgatory), there upon a portal to their next life. There’s none of that third person narration to explain stuff , so ngl it was a bit confusing, esp with the episode about the killer who murdered a couple. So did god make him experience the life of the couple he killed via the special bullets…? some of the stories felt incomplete, like there’s usually a moral story to an episode, but some didn’t really have one.
