I Don't Remember That
any unconventional love(?) story excites me so let's see if this seme is actually his stalker or something. edit: after 12 chapters, maybe i should drop it, it's meandering around the amnesia issue (cmon mc, cant u try harder to recover ur lost memories, especially since you've vaguely realized someone pushed you off the stairs?), and they just hang out. mc's obviously gonna fall for him, but there's absolutely no psychological element, aside from mc's memory loss and ml's yandere-ness, but other than that it's just building their relationship. doesnt stand out from other bl works with similar premises so yeah edit: dropped, mc is too dumb for me
AISHA
ch 3. there is something very wrong. aida and her father are reading a book at night and she's on his lap. and he implies that it is supposed to be a secret. ch 16. hope she gets revenge tho on sein for scarring her palm.
Gachiakuta
ch 14. it seemed to follow the generic route of exploding with the power of rage once the enemy killed and even degraded a nice support cannon fodder that could've become his friend but whatever. mc's a bit quick-tempered and fiesty. ch42. creepy and sad... but storytelling is fantastic. ch62. goddamn...my heart dropped when it's revealed it's just a hallucination
Non Zero Sum
Dr Frost
even tho it was a psychological autopsy about a girl who had already committed suicide, the storytelling brought me to tears. it was subtle and not over-the-top grief and guilt and so on point! ch 162, that was all his hallucination?
Sadistic Beauty BL Sidestory
there's no Stockholm syndrome. the art is nice. ive heard that minho was a scumbag in sadistic beauty, a selfish bastard, but there's no way in hell he deserved a fate like this. he's completely broken, and uses alcohol to cope with his situation and avoid angering rapist. it is sad bc minho regretted his mistakes, but he had no chance to actually repent for them. at least the author is not deluded enough to force him to develop an attachment to the bastard, but then again, it might be the author's way of making minho miserable. it's almost like the author is projecting her/his twisted revenge fantasy on someone she despises. except she/he made a mistake, which was that minho is redeemable, and plenty of readers do feel pity for him. as much as I dislike this story, it does a good job of not glorifying or romanticizing this relationship and emphasizes that minho willingly stayed only bc the ml is the only one who loves him, and this pacifies his loneliness. its pretty realistic, portraying how difficult it is for the victim to get out of a toxic relationship.
