Cocoon of the Heart
damn. the angst, jeff's character development, terry's depression... such an emotion-evoking read. tho I kinda wish they actually confirm if terry's sis cheated, so maybe jeff's mom wouldn't hate him as much? also, i want to know more about the two doctors' relationship. and it would be nice if some events were explained how they happened. like how did jeff's mom find out about terry's identity?

Cross the Line
damn i feel bad for that girl who hates the mc too. she lost her dad, mom, and prostituted herself to survive. i don't know if her experience was as hellish as the mc's but it doesn't invalidate her feelings. although the whole truth of that arson is not unraveled yet, i cant blame her for hating mc. her reaction of directing her resentment towards mc is very human and normal. say, if your ordinary life suddenly collapses caused by a chain reaction that started because of arson, you would naturally hate the arsonist. you, a mere student, lost your home, your mom, relatives don't care about you...the arson may have saved mc, but to Sara, it ruined her life. so stop hating on her. (but i do admit, going to her home and taking it out on her there and then was excessive). if the story was told in sara's POV, with the vivid experience of her struggle to survive, wouldn't you be hating on mc.
Monster
it's just more mystery stacked upon mystery upon even more mystery. so many mysteries entangled that it's somewhat convoluted. the suspense never leaves. the villain is a villain in the truest sense of the word. the mc, the misunderstood "hero", is literally the best human being ever... other characters are important. some have character growth. some died. the ending was...open. i honestly did not get it. some aspects arent really clear.
