had to detract a star with how the plot/arcs is going. also, the villains are so comically evil now that I have to suspend my disbelief more. i get that they're deconstructions of the tropes of CN, but they're getting too ridiculous to be taken seriously; they're all now the same poorly-written cookie-cutter evil bitch who are just props for mc to show off her amazing-ness. the tension is very nonexistent bc the arcs are very fast-paced, and the extras are idiots. also, can we please not put so much emphasis on dressing mc for a photoshoot? like she looks great in them, but more time should be allotted for the dialogue/writing.

the plot is very slow pace; 100 chapters and mc is still a child. the only thing that kep me going was the wholesome family and friends, intrigue and the mystery of the past, and the castillo kid. but after a while, it just got boring. like the author is gathering a harem for the dense mc, despite how futile it is for them, and that is annoying as well.

98 ch 61. no matter what, it was foolish and short-sighted of grucius to go so far as to attack in order to defy rimuru's decision to "kill" that girl he was in love with. yeah, his love and youma's love for that girl is admirable, but she brought danger to the civilians' lives...even shion was amongst those murdered. rimuru's rage is entirely understandable, and boy, grucius is damn lucky he is willing to look past grudges. In the worst-case scenario, they could've strained the tempest's relationship with the two's respective kingdoms. ch 69. i just love shion. not gay but she is just so amazing. diablo, the newest addition is so hot as well. tho, his absolute devotion towards rimuru is a bit unfounded. do all demons, even a being of his tier, have their hearts stolen by whoever summons them? ch 76. i wonder what's guy's relationship with ramiris. they must be very old and close friends. guy wants to date leon but he clearly prioritizes ramiris over him. ch 85. damn the antagonists the moderate clown troupe members are like a family. well-written villains.
