damn. the angst, jeff's character development, terry's depression... such an emotion-evoking read. tho I kinda wish they actually confirm if terry's sis cheated, so maybe jeff's mom wouldn't hate him as much? also, i want to know more about the two doctors' relationship. and it would be nice if some events were explained how they happened. like how did jeff's mom find out about terry's identity?

can't help but compare this to Cheating Men Must Die. the latter is much better. 1) felt bad for love interests in first 2 arcs while in CMMD, there would be a reason su luxia reject men who fell for her. 2) mc here doesn't do anything noteworthy except for eating and verbally attack, and act like a thug. 3) how the villains are dealt with are boring and bland 4) mc is not as good as su luxia in scheming or analyzing details (or it wasn't shown). i love that aspect. anyways, the arcs so far were boring. there was nothing challenging. things that helped her in those arcs were just handed to her.

the art is phenomenal! anyways, I've read some spoilers, and garan was not taken as jahyeon's concubine, but jahyeon did indeed cheat on soru. multiple times (geez, i really hope the artist don't include the sex scenes). soru finds out and feels sad, but she, as a doormat, doesn't do anything about it. one day, the unsuspecting jahyeon is going to go out as usual to garan, but soru tries to stop him, saying his life is in danger(it was true), but jahyeon doesn't listen, and i assume he says pretty insulting things to her, before he goes to garan only to find out it was a trap. he almost dies, but is saved by yato by soru's plead and his injuries were healed by soru and it was at this moment in his semi-conscious state, he realizes he loves her. he wakes up and wants to see soru, but she's gone- she disappeared together with yato. soru does not lose her memories, but since yato is the only one who was kind to her without ulterior motives, she falls in love with him. they have a happy ending, whereas jahyeon, who became the emperor and married garan, lives in regret for the rest of his life.

feel bad for that maria prostitute. plenty of tragic undertones. but beautiful art. edit: fuck my life. ngl i wasnt convinced by that tradegy tag in the first half, but after reading the last 2 chapters... damn. im happy for them, but so sad as well. in a world that wouldn't accept them, they found solace in each other's presence. they would rather die together than be apart. the art is incredible in evoking emotions and atmosphere work. although the translation was kinda bad in the latter half, it was nevertheless profoundly emotional and heartwrenching.
