HaJime's manga / #yaoi(120)

I'm not usually into the historicals, but this was pretty good.

I really like childhood friend stories, but I really don't like this sharp-angles artistic style. I always have a hard time distinguishing between all the different characters. I wish I could read them in the original Japanese. Since translation changes all the character names to "I and you" it can be hard to tell which character is speaking even without the confusing art.

I like the story here. I can't tell what the uke is thinking, and I'm not sure whether I like the seme, but the dynamic between the characters is interesting. They're both highly independent, but one is too honest while the other is overly secretive.

I hope to get more of this story. I like slow paced stories like this one.

Short but very spooky. I liked it.

Perfect. Perfect pacing. Perfect tension. Perfect combination of mystery and anticipation. Just fantastic.

I like this author's unique story lines and the way she uses the characters' internal neuroses to amp up the drama rather than taking the easy path and throwing external road blocks between the characters and their happiness.

The art was so-so but the story was good.
