Hmm honestly I’m not sure what happened at the end there but I could tell that this was a very sad story ;v;

Bochi recommended this to me because, although she said that she was tired at the time, this made her cry. I read this late at night and I had 0 patience whatsoever, so I skimmed through while absorbing everything and nothing at the same time. I did understand the ending though. This was pretty sad tbh. The last chapter hid different though (ch. 16.5) with the random guy talking to the old man who recommended selling one’s lifespan for money in the first place. Pretty interesting stuff.

GOD FUCKING DAMMIT I FUCKING KNEW IT I REALLY JUST WALKED INTO THIS TRAP FROM TIKTOK I CANT IM SO EMPTY RN Turns out that the uke was a beholder who basically is the closest to the human god. The human god (seme) becomes a jewel after their 18th birthday, and the uke has to offer the jewel to the shrine.

Oh my god… my mouth went dry from reading this bc my mouth was just open. Holy shit this shit is crazy with how mistreated the mc’s son is to how screwed up the bullies are to the mc’s torture methods to how the mc climbed up the ranked and found info and just literally everything is insane. This story is so interesting. I really hope Okaya (the leader of the bullies) doesn’t fucking outsmart the mom because I really want this to have a happy ending (well, happy as in the mom gets the revenge in killing the bullies). Hopefully the mom is badass enough to do so, and she’s SO BADASS NOW WTF
