(4.5 stars) this was actually really good...i loved the uke, and i liked that the issues presented weren't super cliche and contrived but it actually made sense. and when the issues came up the uke was immediately like 'ok cut the BS' kljkld

"Kurashina is a highschool student who has a complex about being a Dom (dominant) gender. He thinks the student body president, Isshiki, is a Dom and has a one-sided inferiority complex. One day, Kurashina finds Isshiki collapsed on campus and he takes care of him. Isshiki confides in Kurashina that he is a Sub, and Kurashina feels guilty for behaving coldly towards him. Kurashina then suggests having a light play with Isshiki as his way of making amends." ✰ Student x Student ✰ Dom/Sub-verse, Dom x Sub ⤷ [2.5]

A Shoulder to Cry On

Complete | Dongmul | 2000 released

"Dayeol hears two guys fooling around in the nurse’s office and accidentally knocks over the curtain rod. When the nurse walks in on the scene, devilishly handsome Taehyun tells her that Dayeol tried to make out with him. Before Dayeol can correct the misunderstanding, the rumor spreads and his archery scholarship is in jeopardy. To make matters worse, Taehyun doesn’t show the slightest bit of remorse; in fact, he shamelessly begins hanging around Dayeol. It’s not long before the two begin walking the thin line between hate and love." ✰ Student x Student, High School ⤷ this was pretty good! the jump from chapter 24 to 25 was wack but other than that i enjoyed it. it makes me sad the author comments on how the characters 'were suppose to be handsome but i didn't draw them well' because i thought the art was actually really great! the process of Taehyun learning to cope with his traumatic past and to trust/love was really realistic, i became really empathetic to him. i think the ending made sense and was satisfactory. i don't really like when BL webtoons go all over the top with the romance, it really takes away from the story and the sense of realism for me, so i liked this story just the way it was.
