This world, filled with truth, goodness, and beauty, has a resounding name: Niangzi!" ✰ Actor x Actor ✰ Funny Misunderstanding ✰ Light-Hearted, Funny ⤷ i wish i knew more about chinese pop culture/history bc i know some of these jokes would have been hits. it was a super funny/cute read, and the art was pretty. i didn't completely get/appreciate the humor until like 50% through, which i regret. i was taking everything too seriously but that's just my drama-loving self. also i was confused when they got together, i was like "wait, where was the confession?" i completely forgot not all webtoons need to follow yaoi-logic, which is some dramatic confession of love. i read the novel alongside this for about 50% of it. the dick biting scene was so funny lmfao. i think if this was yaoi like the novel i would rate it higher, but they cut out all the smut smh. i know u can see the smut on bilibili but after many failed attempts at accessing the chinese website i gave up.
