Nee, Sensei
I was originally only going to give this 3 stars as I enjoyed the story of the main couple, but didn't find anything all that remarkable about it but the second extra with the childhood friends was really good! Though I might just be a sucker for wise reformed baddies like the uke ^^.
Mirai Nikki
Hated the two main characters (the main guy was such a pansy about everything) but I still gave it 4 stars for a pretty engaging plot. Although things did get a little...muddled in the last few chapters, there were plenty of interesting twists and turns that made me want to read more. Not to mention, I really loved Akise's character. So so much! Overall good read, though I wouldn't read it again!
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia
Although I was looking for an actual horror manga so this one didn't exactly fit the bill, but I guess it was pretty good. Such young students/light horror isn't really my cup of tea and the story really seemed to lack any actual suspense (hence no horror tag from me). Rather, around chapter 20, I wanted to stop but steadfastly charged on. It was cute, though, so I'd give it 3 stars. Still dislike the grandmother's character...
Atashi No Banbi
Cute! This author always draws hilarious facial expressions ^^
Koicha No Osahou (tea For Two)
You know what? I liked this story. Yes, the main characters were pretty predictable and things unfolded the way I would have expected them to but what really made the manga for me was the side characters. Between Gou-san and his new found responsibility, Keigo and his love for Mizuki, and Kotoko and her attempts to befriend Tokumura's sister, (and Shunpei, don't forget Shunpei!) I think the secondary characters really help flesh out the story and make it more interesting. At the very least, they were the only things that kept me reading past the 2nd volume as I'd already gotten pretty bored with the main couple by then.
Ren'ai Plus α
Not bad? Missing a chapter and the stories aren't the best but I like the art style.
Nekota no Koto ga Ki ni Natte Shikatanai
It's a cute and somewhat funny story about a 6th grade transfer student who, for some reason, sees the most popular guy in her class as a freak with a cat's head. Occasionally, she'll catch the slightest glimpse of something like a human face and thus fuels her determination to see what he really looks like. Definitely young for me, but it was still fairly enjoyable. Nekota was a cute kid and there were moments that touched even a jaded adult like me. Gotta say, I was really let down with his actual face, though. It just seemed...off. Like, I could tell what look the author was going for, but it didn't end up quite right and he looked a bit deformed.
Caramel Milk Tea
A collection of four 1 shots. To be honest, I only read the first two and skimmed the last two (^v^). But it's still a fairly good shoujo collection. The 2nd party falls for the first pretty quickly after being confessed to but what else do you expect in one chapter? I thought it presented a few different perspectives considering the stories had a very high school life theme so that was interesting to read.
Tonari no Jijou
