Karada Meate De Warui Ka
How can I describe this? It has a different feel from other yaoi, but I couldn't stop reading. Somehow, even with all of their strangeness and flaws, the characters were so endearing. Maybe because they seemed as real and random as real people? And I really enjoyed the dialogue, especially in the first story. Somehow, the lulls in conversation spoke volumes.

Such a lovely story! I'm surprised it has no comments yet. It was funny, the sports scenes were thrilling, and, despite all the silly comedy, it still made me tear up a few times. I also really loved the friendship between Hiro, Hideo, and Noda (especially Hiro and Hideo). Overall, this is just the sort of manga that makes me think "ah youth!" to myself on a lovely summer day. I was a bit...disappointed(?) with the ending. Or, rather, I would have liked to see a bit more resolution between the whole Koga situation, and their futures and whatnot. Or maybe I just liked it so much I wanted to watch them keep going a while longer lol. Either way...10/10!
Rookies
Neko Mata
...alright. Kid in love with popular classmate gets helped by magical pet cat (secretly a cat-man) to become sexy beauty who's constantly seducing popular kid in classroom at night. Nothing surprising and gives an overall okay impression but I tend to like this author's illustrations so I liked it well enough.
Boku No Himitsu Wo Oshiete Ageru
The first one was...alright, I guess? It was so predictable I knew where it was going by the 4th or 5th page, but I quite liked the MC (who didn't think of him badly just because he seemed nerdy) so I wouldn't have minded a few more chapters. The second story was kinda dumb. Nothing enjoyable about it; the characters didn't have any depth and the "romance" seemed to come out of nowhere. The girl was dramatic- not in terms of relationships, but just in how she overreacted to every single thing that happened.
Only You
It's sad but I'm glad I finished it. The uncle was still kind of an asshole, manipulating everyone else's emotions just to get his way. I'm really glad everything worked out with Yuu-kun though. Wish I could see their family life! ^.^
ReRe Hello
Synopsis: After her father is rushed to the hospital, Ririko is forced to take over his task for their family "Handy-man" business- to help clean house for a certain "Mr. Suou"... Review: Waaah I finished reading this! Only took 3 or so years of on again off again manga reading! All in all, it was a cute story. At times, it seemed about to sink into common shoujo tropes, but it managed to pull itself together and retain that light-heartedness I love just in time. The characters were...fine, I suppose? While a few of them were spoiled to the point where it irritated me at times, no one was truly unbearable. Even the part with Suou's mom that looked like it was gonna turn into a 3 volume drama filled sob story was cleared up in 2-3 chapters. Everything that would have had me rolling my eyes had they lasted any longer stopped just after I thought "lol, these people are silly". The ending may have been rushed, but I don't feel like dragging the story out further would enhance our impressions on the characters or plot or anything, so I rather liked the way it ended (though I'm a bit sad to see it go). Long story short, this was a nice, fun story that didn't take itself too seriously.
Benkyou No Jikan
Edit: I originally described this author's one shots as mediocre, but I was wrong somewhat. They're mediocre when you binge read 20 at once because you're overloading your brain with so many characters and plots that you'd need some thing stellar to make an impact that can last past the next couple stories. Her series are much more memorable since you have time to learn to love the characters. But her one shots aren't bad athing all. They're rather cute, in fact. Certainly can't say they're super memorable, but they give all I want from a one shot- a bite-sized plot that's a snapshot of real life high school love (fancified of course), not too much drama, characters you want to cheer for, and a romance that makes you grin. Overall, just adorable
