This. Right here. This manga. Wow. I am blown away by the dynamics of the relationships that each character has with one another. Like wow. This is the only manga that I would condone a four-way crossed love story. The characters are incredibly interesting and the female lead, omg. She is the epitome of doing it right. Anyways, I'm gonna go ahead and take a jab at this but I think *warning spoilers ahead* Kirishima may be acting the way he is [obviously] because he has some kind of other agenda. [obv. but no hear me out] Now, with the information provided of his background and relationship to the Yakuza, I have a feeling that he's there more so for revenge. Or something like that? Idk. Like a family feud that has it's roots engraved to when Kirishima was a child?? I mean it's OBVIOUS that he's not right in the head, but then again at the same time, I feel like there was an ultimately tragic incident that traumatized him as a child and he's out for revenge. Now what kind of revenge, I don't know. It may be something of like that of a kind to all women or a specific person? Idk. But from what I can psychoanalyze (*cough bragging here a little bit *as a student of psychiatry*) Kirishima is obviously very so hurt. He has probably been hurt past the point of trauma in one point in his life when he was much younger, and I think that is why he is what he is today. Everything he does and says is always so ...... empty. like ... just... Fake. Lifeless. but THEN, lo and behold comes YOSHINO. The only one that can expose those true raw genuine feelings he has had been locking away since he was a kid. (maybe) Thing is, I agree with Yoshino up to this point. Kirishima is def not in love or anything like that with her. Why? Because at this point, he is completely INCAPABLE of feeling such an emotion like that. As in, the conscious core part of himself stopped growing when he was a child. I mean, he exhibits all of the characteristics of a complete psychopath. Devoid completely of empathy, but completely charming, intelligent, skilled, gentleman, and socially competent. He's empty on the inside. And Yoshino is the only one that is probably going to turn that upside down. Now, I don't know what he's up to in the last chapter, but I think he's going to try and challenge that. In order to prove to himself that he is not wrong in judging that all women and people are the same. Or maybe he really is just going become the most fucked up trash there can be in a guy because Yoshino told him to do so. I don't know... it's just... It's really sad to think that what could such a person go through to become like that. I couldn't even imagine. Or maybe I'm just overanalyzing just as I always do with things that I get interested in or excited about for being m.d. psyc student. XD
