The Spooky Love Tale of Gongchan Seol
Not that good, but wasn’t bad either
I Have To Be A Great Villain
Kinda twisted and really not a love story but more some kind of codependent toxic thing in a supernatural setting, but it’s surprisingly easy to read and interesting. I’m more of the fluff cute love story kind, and I usually stay away from this kind of abusive relationship dynamics, but I’m pretty hooked on the storyline and plot.
Candy Man
This may seem at first glance like a light hearted romcom BL Manwhua, but don’t let the humor fool you. The main lead is CRAZY, killing stalking/‘I’m sure he hides the dead bodies of his exes in his basement’ kind of crazy, it ain’t cute at all. There’s so much toxicity in this relationship that you wouldn’t be able to hide it with all the humor in the world. If you are not into that, or triggered by that type of stuff be warned, if you are into it, go ahead you’ll like it.
The Third Ending
First season was good, but then season 2 it’s basically just smut, and the plot kinda dies. They start moving too fast out of nowhere, and the relationship gets kinda toxic, not to mention there’s all this useless overused smut BL tropes that really take away from the story. Not gonna lie, I liked the first part enough that the second season made me feel a little like I wasted my time reading this. 3/5
Touch Your World
I was expecting so much out of this one, I’m so disappointed. The plot makes no sense, everything is so forced, like the author was literally just making the characters do anything necessary to keep the story going without ever questioning why. There’s no amount of cute art that can save this.
The Missing O
I read until ch 10 and I HATED IT. Please someone tell me it gets better… I was ready to see strong female leads exploring their sexuality and getting the love they deserve, and what I got instead was this... Ensung is an asshole, she is mean for no reason and I hate her personality. Minsuh’s boyfriend is also a fucking asshole, I really hope she dumps his sorry ass, and grows some self esteem. Okjae was my favorite, and I can tell she’ll end up with that shitty misogynistic twink from the beginning. I HATE all the men in this manwha so far, and are we going to ignore that Ensung fantastic night of sex starts with her getting drugged by a group of men that were going to rape her??? Is this supposed to not be a big deal?? That her one “incredible orgasm” was in a situation where she couldn’t even consent properly??? I’m so done, the more I write about it the angrier I get at this. I’ve read stories situated in the 60’s that were more woke than this.
